Heh, kinda cute. Thumbs up for the colliding particles.
My boat kept getting water particles stuck inside when launching it, so it would pretty much sink instantly most of the time :(

Nice. I haven't seen anything quite like it. It's pretty entertaining for several minutes, but the physics only seem to allow for a few general types of boat shapes. Sometimes the collision detection breaks and lets a water particle inside my boat through a diagonal.
Wow! It looks very authentic when the boat springs a leak. Fun to play.
Pretty cool! Only problem is that it runs stuttery on my computer :-( It was also annoying that you had to restart the game and rebuild your boat every time you lost.
Needs retry! restarting the app and redrawing the ship from beginning is frustrating.
Needs 'retry' and slightly different rules, other than that, really great idea & execution :)
Fun to play, but needs a restart button, instead of running the game again.
Loved it to bits. All it needed was a salior song and a bit of rum. Played for ages.
Ok, now I'm not sure if it was intentional, but I think you managed to hit the most ingenious implementation for the theme. The way to win at the game is to go for minimalism! Basically, I found that the best ship I could build was just putting one square in it.
That was great! The particles for the water were very cool, loved how they changed colour when moving to give a washy sort of feel. The gameplay was hard the first time, but making a large empty box meant I lasted until around 900. It then hailed cannonballs, which was mean, but did provide a sense of closure. Well done for making an original idea.
Awesome particle system. Pretty mean how you always fail eventually, but hey. :)
high score: 740
Fun game :D
The floating and sinking looks pretty real. Sometimes the game was too unresponsive though, but that could be Vista.
Hah! Cool water. Works really well as long as it doesn't get too cramped up in small spaces (tends to shoot "drops" away rapidly when it does).
Not much of a game though, of course. Took me a few attempts to get a good floating boat, but when I did I managed to hold off until the cannon balls really started raining down after a while.
Very hard to stay alive for long at all, even without getting hit by a cannon ball. Beautiful particle system / physics though, smart idea.
Very clever idea for water physics. If you hit space after you lose, you can make it keep giving you points over and over... :)
well-- I survived until a hail of cannonballs did me in at around 950. I love physics / particle sims like these. When I had seen screen shots of your game last weekend I was hoping that it would turn out something like this. A lot of fun to watch and patch the leaks from cannonballs. I played this for a long time. As others have said, retry / redraw button please! ;) Great work
Lots of fun!
fun little physics game. wish the boat could rock back and forth and have more complexity in the design. would be cool if there were online scores showing the design of the ship and the ammount of time afloat. sweet toy though.
It could use a few little tweaks and sound, but it's strangely addictive. I got up to 1690 once. I kept going off the side a lot though.
Definite bonus technical points whenever I can't figure out how something was made! I've done stuff with lots of interacting particles before, but sure couldn't do anywhere near these numbers at this speed.
Really awesome game, though I don't feel so much like I'm sailing as trying to make the most airtight submarine as possible. I wish it floated better initially, rather than always being half submerged, so that it really felt more like the cannonballs were punching holes in the bottom. As it is, holes in the top are almost as bad!
One of my favorites, wish it had more polish in terms of being a complete product - you know, the retry thing everyone else is saying.
It was a fun simulator, and once I found out you could move the ship with the arrow keys (I learned to read the README with all games now, ok?), it got easier to avoid those cannon shots. I liked experimenting with differently shaped and sized boats.
A pretty nice game. Great idea and the implementation isn't too bad either. Maybe the water particles could've been a bit smaller so the boat would've leaked more "realistically" and I would've liked being able to draw the boat with a few more pixels. Should be able to retry. Good job though, it was quite fun to play!
very neat concept, with some pretty cool technology. All it needed was more polish. I didn't realize until the very end that I could move the boat and keep drawing after the game started. Including that info in game would have helped.
My boat sank before I got a chance to be shot at =(
Second time too, but I managed to keep it floating underwater somehow. I seem to have a thing for submarines.
And the third, fourth.. Even my one-square ship sank. Man, I really suck at this game.
Seems interesting though =]
Cool game, very neat implementation. To improve: make it so you draw with just free-form lines, that'd be even cooler :)
