City State: Inspired Destiny by quin 2010-12-31T21:55:00

This is a cool concept, and I really liked that the tech tree mirrored Civilization. I'm not sure why everyone kept dying to war though, I got the 'good' ending the first time I played though it. I had to actively try to get war, and it took me getting nuclear weapons with negative peace to die.

There are problems, though. There's not any feedback besides some numbers and it's hard to know when you might be in danger from war or nukes, plus, there's not much reason to play more than once or twice. Further polish should help.

Seems like a cool game with a lot of content potential, but it all seems to move too fast, and having to type in codes to move to the next level and do stuff, as well as no apparent way to see a full log of the console makes it hard to learn how to play the game.

My only major complaint was having to sit around and wait for the AI to wander close enough to be able to see the exit. Otherwise it's a nice and polished puzzle game.

I like the effects of the degrading systems, but movement and firing of lasers all felt a bit slow. The game could have been improved a bit with some sound, too.

It's actually pretty stressful, hoping to get to the nearest water before running out.

Unfortunately, the music loop is incredibly short, and gets kind of annoying pretty quickly.

A pretty enjoyable game, though there seems to be massive lag spikes when the villagers actually hit the buildings to construct them. Overall, the messages in the game were pretty funny, and it's a pretty fun bit of building for a while.

Overall, a better city building game than the recent Sim City 2013. Though it only becomes apparent once you look at the other views and realise there's more to everything than you first think.
