HAHAHAHAHA 747 HAHAHAHA
Design and game play fits the theme. Having to restart the whole thing upon losing was not so fun. Didn't play it again.
After I figured out what I was supposed to do, it was a lot funner. =P
Actually after I used nice to lower the framerate so I could beat it it got a LOT funner. Point bump-ups!
Thanks for the tendonitis, pal!
Very minimalist, but not so fun...
Had to finish it just to see what happens.... enjoyed it :)
Nice idea, simple and sweat. The deck of cards was just cruel...like 52 pickup. Then, I finally got past it and lost the next level. Of course, it can just go on forever...
I liked it a lot. I wish I didn't have to go all the way back to the beginning if I screw up though. I want to play it to the end but all it takes is one screwup to throw me back to the beginning. :-(
Fits the theme, with much humor. I didn't find it all that fun though. Nonetheless, good job.
Wow, I absolutely loved it. Not sure what is up with the other people -- I thought it was perfect. VERY fun, supremely clever, and surprisingly funny. Great great job. Everything fits the theme beautifully - the art, sound, and background go together really well, and the ripples and reflection are a really nice touch.
Well, I certainly didn't see that coming. O_O
Great comedy, by far the funniest game I've played so far this compo.
Nice relaxing music too.
this game cracked me up. I also tried way more times than was healthy to beat the thing but have been unable thus far. I really did want to know what was past one of the really hard levels (i'm trying not to reveal any spoilers here). I think some problem I had was that often the objects move left and right outside the screen dimensions a little bit more than they should perhaps making it tough to click everything.
I seriously laughed very hard on the fourth level the first time through and then it was still worth some great chuckles on follow up plays. A lot had to do with the combination of graphics and hilarious sound effects.
EDIT: I finally won!! ;) I hadn't realized there was a fullscreen version in my installed menu (from your installer) and using that I was able to finally click without flying out of the window. There were a lot more levels left after the cards one than I thought. Great fun, thanks again! :)
Enjoyable, and pretty funny. Wish I could skip levels to get closer to the end, since I couldn't pass the deck of cards, but one of my favorite games to come out of this competition.
Made me laugh out loud - could be a bit easier though; the two armories bit is already a bit too difficult. Although I did pass it on my first run (losing at the card deck)..
First try: Let the leaf fall, EPIC LOSE
Second try: missed an armoire, lose
Third try: All the way to the end!
This game is awesome AND funny, I think it could be a hit as a flash game and/or facebook app.
Not very fun to play, but entertaining regardless.
I wish there was an easy settng but I LOVE IT!!!
Nice beginning. The fourth level woke me up. After that it was not nearly as funny.
Boring, but funny at the same time. I almost yelled when a rhino fell in the pond. Would've been more fun if you had lives instead of restarting at the beginning of the game.
Marvelous theme compliance. Might have been nicer if instead of being kicked back to the start, it just made you re-try that level or maybe just one back. Truely an art entry :)
Argh. It's amazing!
Short but very sweet, and just the right amount of challenge. I finished it on my 5th attempt or something. First one I just sat there and didn't get it. Then came a crapload of tries stumped by the deck of cards. Once I got past that I was home free.
Great humor and style, plus the actual gameplay works very well (yeah, I'm not bothered by how simple it is - presentation saves the day). Fullscreen caused no problems for me. Another killer from the ham.
Hilarious, well done, perfect fit for the theme. For what it is it is very fun.
By the way, I don't know if anyone else noticed, but the readme is made up of haiku's :) Nice touch.
Perfect use of theme. Very clever. Perhaps I'm missing something, but it seems to get very hard. Which is too bad, because I'd love to see how it ends.
Very poetic. Very humorous. Funny how those actually work together. Great entertainment value. Not quite as fun. Still great.
A wonderful little game, with the best humor up until now. :D Almost like duck hunt but with better graphics, audio and texts. The only thing that bothered me was that the game didn't really tell you if you failed, it just reseted. Really good job, though!
Massive lols. Good fun.
Was about to complain about the use of an installer, but then realized that this was only the post-compo version. Phew! :)
I didn't get it at first but when I did however, it was alot of fun, you really suprised me when I cleared the three leaves level! :) Simple game and very good presentation!
It's beautifully minimalist and reasonably fun. It's irritating to be returned to the start of the game every time you fail a level (especially when objects fall off the edge of the screen), and yet I still kept trying because I wanted to get further.
(When I read the journal before playing the game, I was expecting it to consist of just a title screen. I was mildly surprised to find that it was interactive!)
