Beautiful. I love this game. The audio is dead on, the graphics are wonderfully minimalistic. You did a good job with the background and giving a feeling of 'doom'. Extremely well polished. Bravo, sir. More complex pieces along with maybe being able to rotate the level (or piece) would make this even more challenging.
The graphics actually fit together pretty well and look nice :) I like that you aren't really 100% sure which guy is gonna throw the rock, so the angle comes out different than you expect sometimes. I would have liked more levels but I suppose the strategy boils down to "how fast can you click!" With different units and upgrades (towers, different weapons) and this could easily be very addicting.
Great stuff! The dark area was a bit annoying, but other than that I enjoyed it. Those statues are intimidating. The wall at the end was perfect. I kept wanting to left click things and hoping they would react or something would happen, but you really can only interact with doors. The audio kept the tension level high. Good job, sir :)
Excellent! I had fun playing it. The game sorely needs some kind of music though. The gravity seemed a bit too much. The graphics are spot on though, love the low-fi feel. Would be nice to know approximately how far away the wall is without being right next to it. It seemed pretty hard to save the humans from being shot... maybe they should trail behind the ship horizontally like a tail? With the addition of some kind of upgrade system (faster ship, more carrying capacity, etc) and slightly different environments, I would play more levels of this.
I have a soft spot for text games :) The music is nice and subtle. I like this text engine.. it feels solid. I'd like to play more games in it. You have a lot of freedom with a graphical window -- stuff like changing the text color or background color, or even showing some very low-res images (I'm thinking back to the BBS days and ANSI graphics). Overall a quirky and fun entry, although the wall never advances. A periodic message like "The wall inches its way close and closer..." would have added some tension.
Fun game once I figured out the ladders could be picked up (had to watch the first bit of your walkthrough). After that I was able to beat it after quite a few tries (that block at the very end was a dick move. seriously) Deep down I think I enjoy these minimization-of-moves type games, so this was enjoyable. Theme worked well with this type of puzzle. I'm not sure I would subject myself to any further levels. A 'rewind' feature to go back X moves would be nice, so you don't have to play through the entire level every time. I think with rewind, I could stand a few more levels :)
The AWOD theme feels tacked on. The bats pose much more threat than the wall itself. I do like the graphics though -- with a background and some more varied gameplay, this would be excellent :)
Took me four tries to make it to the very end. A very cool game :) The mullet is absolute win. You did a good job with the graphics and the perspective. I would have liked shadows under the bars or something, since it was pretty hard to gauge where they actually are. Additional feedback for how close the wall is would have been nice, either something graphical or a static noise that got louder... it was sorta anti-climatic when the wall actually did reach you. A great entry though, that actually requires some learning and skill.
I dig the retro 3D graphics :) Also, the blood splatter when you die is awesome. I did crash once when I died, and the collision detection seems to be off around corners. Solid entry!
I enjoyed this :) Dig the art style. The player ship could have looked a little better. It wasn't obvious at first I had to absorb the asteroid things, but I was bad and didn't read your final post to learn this. The concept is solid enough to be made into a fuller game. Would have loved an epic sound for the white laser beam!
Could definitely be a fun puzzle game if there were some strategy involved.
Fun! At about level 3 or so the game really kicks in. Sounds fit and the graphics weren't horrible to look at. It did get pretty laggy for me toward the end of level 3 before I died, and I have a beefy machine. If the wall had been a bit less predictable it would have been more fun... such as fractal patterns, non-square sprouts, and uneven growing.
Not feeling the 'wall of doom' in this one. Visually, very nice, although the nice graphics make the lack of sound very apparent. I'm not sure there is a lot of strategy involved in the wall other than turning it all red or all blue. Definitely a neat engine though, and I hope you use it in the future to crank out a more polished game.

Finding Her by nitram_cero
I love the concept but the backtracking is too much. I played through twice, trying to find the second (better?) ending but couldn't. Dialog system needs more focus.. maybe better tracking of multiple timelines. Good potential here.
The First Frontier by Redbone
As mentioned earlier, disabling ALT-F4 and removing the close button is a no-no. Also, assuming players will install a font is a little unrealistic. The layer of static stars and layer of moving stars made me a little nauseous. It was also pretty hard to move quickly since the mouse wasn't confined to the window. Despite this I still had fun, I am a sucker for any kind of SHMUP ;)
Echolon by mklee
Interesting engine, but the gameplay could use some work. Enemies were easy to accidentally kill, and the level was open enough that exploration wasn't really required. Still, it ran fine and the ship physics were good.
Spacexplorer by pythong
Eventually stopped cause I couldn't find the last few guys. I did like the different attack patterns, very SHMUPish.
Come and See by TeamQuiggan
Great start, would love to see this completed! I enjoyed poking around the island.
...Deeper by Doches
Loved the dimming mechanic. The difficulty is too random though.. I would go 10 levels with the exit nearly within sight every time, then suddenly reach a level that seemed impossible. I'd spend all of 120+ fuel trying to find the exit to no avail. Also, some tiles seemed to extend above the boundary of the screen? Still, a cool concept and proof that a hex roguelike wouldn't be TOO awkward :)
Forest by increpare
Beautiful sounds, but really did just feel like I was tweaking faders on a console. A more focused goal would have made this concept shine.
Lost in Exploration by dertom
While there isn't too much to do, at least the engine itself feels pretty solid. I hope you continue to refine it for future projects!
Penguinagain by dock
Ahhh, voxels :> Noticed some glitches that looked like Z-fighting between faces. Some of the lighter textures were hard on the eyes. The static camera made it feel a little claustrophobic and hurt the 'exploration' aspect. Still, an enjoyable and charming game! Vive le voxels!
The Europa Arcology Incident by Notch
Roguelikes, represent! A very solid feeling system. The inventory management is a bit cumbersome at times, but nothing game-breaking. As others have mentioned the font is hard to read. I'm surprised by the amount of content you were able to make.. well done, sir.
Jail Escape by Rudy_Guillan
Man, the wall bug kills this. The line-of-sight looks very cool though!
Level 1: 46s. 96& Lost 0 times
Level 2: 27s. 66% Lost 2 times
Level 3: 143s. 47% Lost 10 times
Level 4: 267s. 65% Lost 20 times
Level 5: 65s. 54% Lost 9 times
Mars Rover by Rafael CP
Neat idea! To make a programming game more interesting though, you need to provide methods other than the basic u,d,l,r... as it is now, the game is no different from piloting the rover yourself, except not in real time.
Scouting only! by stRana
The graphics remind me of Sim Life xD I think the concept has potential but isn't quite executed. For one, it feels odd combining turn-based exploration with realtime damage. If the bad stuff did bigger chunk of damage once when entering the square, you wouldn't have a "run really fast" strategy.
SEEK*TOR by Ashera
Wow, wonderful entry. This is my favorite one with a sound-based mechanic. It works well.. I've been playing 30 minutes and still having fun :) If anything, I'd like more varied maps and maybe some weird terrain things, like stuff that reflects your sound or something. Great work!
Tower Quest by moltanem2000
Solid entry. I really didn't have much motivation to go up the tower again after I died though, especially since it isn't random.
Lost? by retrogamer500
Fun but the controls are too 'loose'. They really need to be tight for a game that is focused solely on being able to maneuver properly. A few more save points would make this more tolerable.
Planetary Explorer by Selkie
Both ideas felt a little half-baked. Kudos for being able to program both of them, though! I hope your next entry is able to focus more and get some polish.
Ezo by C418
Beautiful audio! The transitions between 'stages' were a little jarring. I would have liked more interactivity.
CMYKave by QOGQOG
I like the graphics.. very neat color shifting, it had me reaching for my red/blue 3D glasses :P The movement felt responsive, which helps a ton in making the game replayable. A counter for the number of endings would have been nice. Overall a solid entry, the length is juust right.
Scavenger by Fiona
Great game! As others have mentioned, very relaxing. Amazing what a little music does for the experience. I did feel a bit disappointed at the end when I realized I had fully upgraded my ship and couldn't do anything further with it. I wish there was at least one more goal after pimping out your ship. Still, good entry :)
MindPloration by Risko
A bizarre experience. Great job :) The game is begging for some atmospheric music.
Hole Jump by Alex
Fun game, but where is the exploring?
Dream Explorer by scellers
The graphics are lovely! I also really enjoyed the music. The physics could stand to be tighter and the gameplay refined. With a little more meat this would be a solid platformer.
I Never Missed Anyone Until They Were All Gone by Cosr
A great start! I hope you continue working with this engine :D
Oblivious -the darkness within- by killdream
I love being able to 'feel' out maze paths before actually getting to them. Very neat mechanic. I really don't enjoy mazes enough for that to keep me interested, though. Given a little more meat, this could be a dangerously addictive entry.
Needlesoft Haystack Explorer by Sos
Would be cool if you could dive into the stack to look for it, or move around clumps. Still, a good solid game (although clicking on the needle is difficult, I had to maneuver quite a bit to click it). Clouds are awesome, as is music.
Leaving Satisfactoria by eli
Great first attempt! Kudos on sticking with it to the end.. that is the hardest part ;) The concept behind the game is great, but the execution doesn't do it justice. I hope to see your future LD entries!
5 Colors: Pandora by Jordan Magnuson
Thank you for this beautiful entry. I may be a bit biased because I had Sigur Ros - Takk going in the background :) The slight spin in flying mode is perfect. My favorite entry so far.. if only it had some audio!
Soulspark by SonnyBone
My controls would stick sometimes after alt-tabbing out, making the game unbeatable :( [Note: after a few failed attempts I figured out I needed to hit the alt key again. Not terribly intuitive, consider listing ALT as the mousegrab key?] The graphics are wonderful.. I would love to play the full game.
EchoExplorer by refrag
The sonar sound could stand to be toned down a bit. Had some great music that fit the dark and lost theme very well! It was a bit annoying to only see like 50% of your surroundings with sonar, but that was probably by design. Solid entry!
Silly muffin :>
Intergalactic Farmer Bob in Space Hijinks by Zecks
This is so rockin. A bit unforgiving, but the environments are interesting enough to keep me coming back. I almost think this would have been better with no permanent death, like Knytt. Still, awesome job!
Northern Spy by BenHem
Visually stunning. Great audio as well. The gameplay is a bit lacking in that there is little reward for playing well (other than seasons changing, which looks excellent). Maybe you didn't have time for the ending? The engine is a bit laggy.. I hope Processing doesn't end up restricting your ideas due to slowness. The end fade seems a bit too long. Despite all of this the entry feels very solid... good job!
Bashplore by samel
Yes.
Tomb Thief by Serilyn
Great skeleton model and animation! Unfortunately without a set ending there isn't much to keep me playing. A map would have been nice, or at least some other discernible features in the dungeon.
the light at the end of the tunnel by ippa
Someone was watching me play and said "looks like you're in some intestines..." heh heh heh. Would be much more tolerable with improved collision detection. Ending was good :)
Cat Planet by chuchino
Love it! Most fun entry I've played. You can tell you actually worked on content rather than just an engine. The last room though... COME ON. CAT PLANET!
Space Explorer by jplur
Learning curve is a bit steep. Also, it's frustrating to not know where a space station is... there also doesn't seem to be any way to heal? (other than randomly find a planet that does it for you) A nice chill game, and cool concept, but difficulty is a bit high. I finally mastered the combat but then died randomly to militants on a planet :/ The turret system is a bit weird.. to kill ships I had to 'game' the turret system and constantly aim in front of enemies while circling them.
Chopface by DrPetter
Nice smooth animation. The musagi tune was a bit much though :[
