Unfortunately, I don't really KNOW the rules of Life (in any sense of that sentence). So I pretty much had to place my spots randomly. The game ran at 10000x light speed when I wasn't freezing it, hope that was intentional. Probably not, since I think my end time was 14 minutes, and I played for less than a minute.
Anyway, the screenshot was very misleading, I thought I was actually going to get to see KILL KILL KILL on my screen. Big disappointment.
Interesting game. It's neat to see other people making games with Conway's GoL. (My team did the Celldoku game for Pyweek)
Anyways, pretty awesome for only 3 hours! :D
Ohh god, the blur makes me want to vomit... and kill all life...
Nice idea. Fits the theme well too. I wish it had some music.
For three hours that's pretty kick-ass.
I couldn't tell that I was doing anything, the life seemed to take care of killing itself for the most part.
Good for a 3 hour game, not much to it, though, outside of trying to beat a low time. I managed to win in 56 seconds, once.
I have no clue what's going on, but it looks pretty.
Minimal comes to mind
Interesting game idea. Hard to find strategy at first. for some reason made me lol.
I like conways life stuff. I think this would have thrilled me more if the visual wasn't quite so hard to follow. It made it hard to strategize. But the basic twist of taking the game of life and turning it into a "game of death" was pretty cool :)
Looks quite good and original, but it doesn't really give you any info if you're doing well or not, or if you really are even doing anything. Great readme. :)
Heh, it actually looks pretty neat. And it's fascinating to watch it move so fast, looks really flowing with the colorfade effects.
The killing part of it isn't particularly satisfying, but at least you get to kickstart some more chain reactions (hey, maybe this should have gone into the previous LD? :))
