Didn't quite get it.
It dosen't seem like something so simple should have such a poor framerate. Or is that just an optical illusion of sorts? But nonetheless, far too incomplete to be much fun.
The artwork thing was cool, but you're definitely right that you should have done a white background with black art, to look like pencil sketches.
Not really a game, but I can see where it was going and it was a good idea. I wish it had worked right (but UDLR for the facing choices really sucked, WASD or something would've been far better).
A note to other people who play this: CTRL-D is how you exit the lisp interpreter.
You get a 5 in technical for doing it in lisp :p

What a pity it didn't get completed, the style looks interesting; might make for a nice puzzle game.
Points for coding in Lisp, otherwise... no game in there.
it's technically very neat that you used LISP to code this, and it would have been interesting to see it in a more complete state. the graphic style is a neat concept, and if it was refined a bit (to look like a marker, paintbrush, etc., drew it, rather than just lines), it might end up looking really cool!

well its a neat idea, and would most likely be cool if it were finished. as for the graphics you do get extra love for making me think of vib-ribbon :D
