I dunno. Somehow I became a little bit scared of this game. Something about the sounds. Got maybe to the 7th level.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD11 → The Hunt for Pepsi Blue

Well that was different.
I have no idea what a Pepsi Blue is or why I would want one, but the game is fun for a couple of minutes in an arcadey way.
Finally, a game not afraid to deal with the important issues of the day!
Weird. I got to the fourth level. The music sounded random. The shooting sounds were ok and the graphics were informative enough. Is the McRib game next?
Bizarre. I liked the music and odd pieces like the overworld map :) Not too deep, but quick and easy fun.
I remember Pepsi Blue.
You'd think this was an advergame. I'm not really sure how this fits the theme. There seems to be a lot waiting around. The sound effects were a little annoying.
I also remember Pepsi Blue. Weird. They should make other colors too. Customizable Pepsi.
Kinda fun, but aiming can be frustratingly hard.
Never heard of Pepsi Blue before.
Something was wrong with the sound, like it was constantly running out of buffer or something. (I think it's a problem with the local pygame though, so I'll just n/a sound.)
mjau, since pepsi (and other liquids like it) are by nature transparent (how scary is that?) they experimented with pepsi a couple of times by just selling blue version of it. Looks like something you'd expect from synthetic oil or dishwashing liquid..
Anyway, the game. On my first try I didn't understand what the heck was going on, but I still got through several levels. After reading the explanations things got a bit clearer.. =)
Really loved the theme of the game, "really well written". :P Also the audio was really well done in the timeframe given. The controls were a bit weird and sometimes it seemed like the movement of the other "vehicles" was a bit buggy, but otherwise a pretty nice package. :)
blurry footphotos :(
Sound was "Excshellent!". The graphics were minimal, but I don't like the colour scheme. Scrolling intro screen and between level USA map was a nice touch. Controls were very responsive.
I got some decent giggles out of this one. The US map gave a good sense of progress. The graphics were minimalist for sure. I think the controls could have used some TLC somehow .. I had a hard time aiming my tank to kill anything.
I think I got to Louisville. I guess I'd have to say the gameplay is more obnoxious and frustrating than fun. But boy, was that a creepy level win noise.
Never could get the download to complete, I guess no pepsi blue for me. :(
A bit frantic. The tank was too fast for comfort, made it hard to aim properly. It was also pretty unclear as to what I was going for on each level in terms of win conditions. Maybe the people counter mattered there, but I couldn't see the numbers properly (was just a few squashed pixels).
Really annoying. The cars are too fast to aim at effectively because the tank turns too fast to control, and its shots are too slow and weak. (It takes TWO tank shells to kill a car? Since when?) The vehicles' unpredictable behavior also made it impossible to prioritize my targets. I just had to fill the screen with my projectiles and hope the parking lot didn't fill.
Food is blurry. Game is not bad but unremarkable. Game could be intuitive.
Rather surreal and where can I get one of those cars that can go sideways!
