Two words: AIR JUGGLE.
I'll take that! Not too bad for my first LD critique :D
Thanks for the critiques guys, this was technically my first "finished" game, and the first platformer I've ever attempted, so I'm happy with mediocre. :P
The boredom meter fills up pretty fast, and you can just enter/exit your room over and over to survive dying of boredom (not sure if intentional). I liked the idea though, pretty funny
Welp, I think I've tried everything from jumping at walls to climbing and standing on all the platforms to clicking the light and pressing all the normal control keys. No idea what to do.
Oh man, super sweet intro! It was weird to me that the trees could be walked through, and it took me a bit to actually find where the choppa was. Also, if you just run fast, their bullets can't keep up ;)
Super sweet! At first I thought the blocks would kill you, so I just started shooting straight up. Then I noticed the lava. Very nice.
I agree with VDO, was expecting blocks to either fall after shooting their support, or something, it does lose its appeal after you get on a good branch.
BSoDs were a nice touch. So small! I wish I could scale it up.
Oh my god, this is totally sweet.
Aw man, totally smashed against a spikewheel's hitbox corner. Maybe you should've made their hitbox a circle? :D
I love the controls, really solid!
No problem. http://imgur.com/FTEXo
Oh man I LOVE your work, I'm diving in right now :)
I LOVE this game. Give it a better ending (what do markets do??), some different modes, and a score and I'd pay $5 for it on iOS hands down. I'd even help you make it.
MUHAHAHA NO END GAME, EH? http://i.imgur.com/O2EVw.png http://i.imgur.com/aUtkz.png
Pretty sweet, this is gorgeous. My main issue was the UI could be confusing at times, especially with negating effects. I would suggest making some of the effects be a random chance or something, because I ended up only beating 1 raid after 30 nights, but I had a crew of 6 guys that could negate everything. :P
Pretty fun! But man those firebombs are pretty OP. Also, you should explain somehow that you need to click people to swing your sword on them. Great work :)
Hm, I actually can't play it. I unzipped the rar (which you should make a zip next time), and ran the exe but nothing pops up or happens. I'm on Windows 8.
Well done! It felt a bit like my game (where you take over a city selling meth while avoiding police), so I felt right at home! Man, those cops are pretty good at winning fights though, but all bad guys get caught in the end, so I can't complain ;)
This is more of a tech demo for a maze than a game, if you add more features to it, I could see it getting a lot more interesting! As for the tech, it's pretty good! No crashes or glitches :)
I really liked the concept of this, I only wish the gameplay mechanics were more fully explored. Plus the font is quite unreadable. Pretty good for a first-time ludum dare though! Well done!
Oh man, this is so good Saam! The tutorial area is perfect. Well done!
I would like a feature that lets you see if you have minions on a tile without having to mouse over them, but I really like the idea! If there was more feedback to the player and maybe even a smaller map this game could make a great mobile title :)
Pretty fun! Turns into run around in circles and punch one guy from the mob following you every so often, but it's still great for a LD game! Could totally use a badass punching music score though!
Needs more particles, haha! Pretty fun, I enjoyed playing it, but the damage that was supposed to be inflicted was incorrect compared to the amount actually inflicted, when I upgraded to 25 damage it still took 5 hits to kill a unit with 100 health. Other than some polish and art effects, this plays pretty well. Nicely done!
Totally awesome, really enjoyed this. I'd love to see some more levels, I want to play it some more :)
Click three buttons and watch bullets cover the screen; the game! I liked the style of the minions but it was rather hard to see where they were/what they did with the background being so noisy, and there being 2000 bullets on the screen. I would lower the contrast on the background, and maybe make the bullets a bit smaller?
Oh man! I really like this, but I did fumble with the controls a bit. Also, I feel the spike traps should be bigger, the heroes never stepped into them for me :P Keep up the good work!
This was great! I really liked the art style, but it was a bit easy because it turned into stand still and punch like crazy as the animals run into your weapon ;)
