I really really love the graphics and atmosphere, but I don't get the gameplay. Too bad :(
I thought the path selection was an interesting mechanic. The music was good as well.
I have no idea what the colored tiles mean, or why there were sometimes spikes. It seemed like the only thing to do was select for a path the the other ball. Pretty cool concept, but not much of a game.
Great looking game, love how you did the titles.
I managed to complete the game, I didn't understand exactly how my choices would change the future choices, but the shattering destruction of the unpicked choice was a neat effect.
Thanks for the comments! I totally agree; the biggest problem is communication. I've got a postmortem at http://www.oogby.com/postmortem-ludum-dare-24/ if anybody's interested.
read the postmortem, very nice read
I love the interpretation of the theme - the evolution of the path is apparent.
Was a bit easy. Good idea anyhow. :)
The graphics and the audio are very cool! A good looking game.
After playing the game and reading your postmortem, I think your initial concept was very interesting but didn't fully make it into the final game. Of course, 48 hours is a short amount of time, but I do hope you continue to explore the idea as the atmosphere of the game is very interesting.
Live take! Really like the menu-titles, and the shattering is interestingly done.
really cool graphics and effects. i think this would be really cool expanded into a longer game, great concepts here.
