This is an absolutely fantastic game. One of the best Ludum Dare entries I've ever played.

I liked this. It's not particularly strongly tied to the theme, but it works. There was some nice branching. The arc of the story felt a little stilted, but the world it built was very nice. The singing caught me off guard but I loved it.

This game is a good start, well done!

I had issues with the controls - manipulating the ship was extremely difficult, and I got stuck on rocks frequently. There was also a lack of feedback in the game. I had no idea how much power I needed to get for the lighthouse, from the lighting alone I couldn't tell how much of the day had passed (perhaps some sort of meter or having a sun that passes in the sky would help?), and I also got completely lost (a map might help).

I guess the question comes more down to where you want the player to find the game interesting.
The game seems to straddle between being about atmospheric exploration and being goal oriented. In the future, choosing one and making all your decisions around that would definitely help.

Congrats on finishing! The water looks fantastic and it's definitely an interesting concept.

This is a good jam entry! I liked a lot of things about it. The mechanic is nice, and there's a definite tension while you're lurking about the maze.

The things that I had trouble with were that I could never find more than one orb in every play-through. Killing the monsters was also a little frustrating. When I had a fully charged shot I felt like I was penalized for hitting the enemy because first they wouldn't die, and second my bullet would go way far away most of the time. The AI was also frustrating when they would camp on the bullet after you missed a shot. It'd be great if there were a way to lure the enemy away from the bullet so you could sweep in, reclaim the bullet, and then kill the enemy.

Anyways, this is a great entry. Congrats on finishing!
