Weapon Cooldown by Oana 2013-08-26T20:39:00
Was ok! Couldn't get past first boss - I became immune to laser damage and he didn't seem to go down either :(

So I guess "always cut the red one" doesn't really work in a super realistic bomb difusal situation xD
Game was very very fun to play!!
Great game, miyamoto would be proud ;)
Loved everything but mostly how smoothly you incorporated the theme to the game. Keep it up, 5* from me :D
PS: The guy on the tree can be a real pain in the ass >_<
Very clever game :) Would like to see more of it :D
Can't really judge a game based on one and a half level but what I saw, I liked :)
Graphics / Audio were great! Could do with a little more things to do but given you're not a programmer, maybe you had some ideas you couldn't implement - would like to see more :)
Nice although challenging even at lower levels - it felt sort of unbeatable at some points, maybe it just needs some getting used to :)
Ow, I also loved the minimalistic graphics - a programmer's best option ;)
I did a similar thing for my game and then painted the balls over with random unity materials (skyboxes, terrain materials, particles - you'll find something that fits your style :P) which, be it random as it may, looks interesting ^_^
Overall a nice - and very addictive!! - game but (unless I missed something) quite off theme :P
Couldn't play it (it loads but I can't click on the changed objects!! :(
Windows - Firefox 23.0.1
Brilliant game, all it needed was a soundtrack :D
Something made me play and play again after "The Over" :P
Addictive little thing!
Nice that you made it simple and perfectly executed! I'd prefer some more mechanics (power ups, random counter-clockwise spins, .. ) but it's addictive ;)
It got me to play till level 20 but it kind of needed a few more mechanics / options / boss fights (?) ;)
First off - I like the idea.
That being said your game is very depressing and I'll tell you why - this is what happened to me:
I started my 10 seconds shift as I would any normal day. I see a guy and I pull over - he asks me kindly to take him to +9 seconds, I say "Ok, hop in" then proceed to taking out my stopwatch (an actual, real life stop watch! ), see the 9 seconds pass and I say "Here we are!".. then the guy says "You're 6.54 seconds late, I aint paying!".. this happened to me all day and in the end I even got fired... life sucks man..
But seriously, the in-game timer is broken (running on Windows 7 64 bit) :(
Was ok but quite off theme - great sound effects though :)
YES! I MADE IT I BEAT THAT CURSED THING!
Dude I was going at it for a good 10 minutes - this *is* rocket science :P
Really fun & catchy! If you ask me, do something with it ;)
There you go - my first 5* for Fun & Innovation :D
The controls were a bit fuzzy at first.. you made a very bad first impression ^_^
The game was very cool, unexpected and well implemented!! Had a smile on my face the entire time ;)
Intriguing storyline(s) ;)
The game was interesting!
One thing I'd change:
I really liked the "at most 10 actions per level" mechanic but I felt I'd prefer more complicated levels and a list of available actions at each level!
The game is quite fun actually once you work out the controls (perhaps a tutorial is needed)
Respect for that brilliant mechanic - wish I had thought of it ;) - Overall implementation was pretty good as well!
Innovation, Humor 5* from me this was hillarious :D
Bug free, fun, innovative.. If that's your first game keep it up :D
Same as @Rabbits.. here!! :( :(
Yes you are right! It was a bug, it should be displaying "Wrestle!!" when you have to wrestle! Try now:)
Was fixing a crash bug and for some reason the key for wrestling got mapped to left bracket.. go figure xD
Thanks for the feedback guys I'm really glad you enjoyed the concept, mechanics and especially the cinematic feeling, which was a pain in the ass to put together >_<
About the things you would like to see changed, I'm not sure I'm allowed to make changed before judging is over, but..
@iiechapman: You're right, I wish I had added an option to choose your own controls, everybody would be happier! (W)restle (R)un and (Sp)in was way too.. "poetic" of a coincidence to just let it slide though ;)
It didnt seem all that bad position-wise either - maybe it's because I've got big hands :P
@Oana: Well, that's not a bug, it's a feature!:P No, really, if you (R)un fast enough the camera moves smoothly, it's only weird if your run ends when you're mid-air or in the middle of a trick :) Try replaying or hitting PageUp to activate "GodMode" which automatically runs you through the entire game like a cinematic.
Confirmed, firefox doesn't like your game... what a mean browser! :(
Beautiful artwork, it had a nice feel to it :)
I see dead penguins :'(
Very powerful one! At first I thought I'd have 10 seconds to pick my actions :)
Was interesting although a bit hard at start (without a controller at least). Nice one :)
Wasn't a bad idea but due to weird collisions I couldn't get to the Ocarina *ehm* Banana of Time in time >_< Fun nonetheless :)
The good: Fantastic artwork, addictive sound effects, hectic gameplay.
The bad: Maybe it's just me, but controls felt a bit fuzzy at times (controlling cars with keyboard, and aiming with either mouse or keyboard, especially towards the bottom)
The ugly: Just wanted to complete my reference, nothing ugly about your game ;)
Looks interesting, has a nice feel but I'm still not 100% sure what I'm supposed to do! >_<
Nice game :D Loved its feeling!!
Hehehe this was simple but pure brilliant! You actually got me going nuts! Saved the (hopefully not deformed) princess with 4.81" left :P Keep it up :)
It's a good start but would like to have seen something more ;)
Interesting.. wish it had more parts :D
Really liked what you did with art style!! And the map was pretty neatly designed (if it's randomly generated - nice one!) All it needed would be a catchy loop for the background and for the theme to play a more significant role :)
Wow dude, when I was 12 I was.. well.. nevermind ;) What I wasn't doing though was entering game jams! Great job for a first entry!
A couple of pointers, if I may:
Faster (not harder though) gameplay, a simple silly dying animation and a repetitive background loop are easy ways to makes it more addictive!
Gameplay shouldn't be too repetitive - add different waves, a boss or whatever, they don't have to be hard to make, just make them faster, bigger, tougher - and reward more points ;)
A simple, even silly, story like "Make it to the end to save your family" can help people immerse more in the game.
Other than that, it's fun and a really great start as I see it! Keep it up :)
Can't play on Windows 7 (64 bit) - missing "openal32.dll" :(
I'll check later in case you made a gameplay video or fixed this error, the game looks very interesting - already voted up for the artwork ;)
Wow cheers for the updated dll!
Game looks awesome, I really liked the 10 seconds activation on the ultimate (and the sweet combos that follow :D )
Really looking forward to testing this with a friend.. you should totally make an online matchmaking pool - yeah sure servers cost money but oh well you know, life's like that some times ^_^
5* For Fun, Humor, Mood, Audio, Theme, Innovation, Audio...
Fuck this was brilliant ;)
Nice concept I like the physics in it!! Controls were not bad. Problem was when You tried to lift and move forward / backwards cause the axes overlap ;)
Off the top of my head, you could try the following:
Say your green platform is at (0, 0, 0). The camera should be fixed at (10, 10, 10) - any number could do just make sure it's the same on all 3 axes - and looking towards your platform.
Now all 3 axes are in a way so that none of them overlap, and motions can be interpreted one way only ;)
Vertical would determine Up/Down, one diagonal would be Front/Back and the other diagonal would be Left/Right.
You work the math out (basic vector calculus / analytical geometry) and you've solved your controls problem ;)
'Sup top notch cats.. uhm dogs er . weather? >_<
Wish there was a 6th star in humor!! :D
Wow that was a weird game :P Couldn't make it past a level though, even after getting 100/100 to all ingredients :(
In case you wanna look into that it was the "Make a Poison" level :)
