I ever so slightly jumped, but what I liked more, was the tension, the stress that I felt while walking the hallways. It's hard for me to explain, I didn't feel scared, but something about the disorientation I felt when I would turn to look from where I came, only to see a wall, somehow got to my nerves. Then at the end I slightly jumped, but I was expecting something like that to happen the entire time I was playing.
I really wanted to add some more interesting things yes. I got in on the competition about 6 hours late, then I overslept by 3 hours the second time I laid down to rest. I could have fit a lot more into the game had I not lost so much time, including audio. So instead I put in a cheap scoring system and a basic enemy spawner with a spawn rate that increases over time. But, with the end of the competition, I now have plenty of time add everything I wanted to.
I had fun playing this. The first time I died because I didn't read the instructions. After I read them I beat it pretty easily by putting huts right near the gremlin base.
This looks nice, like the art, but the "Windows" link takes me to a 404 Error. Will be back later to see if the link gets fixed.
The graphics are pretty nice. I managed to get the hang of the controls by using the arrows with my right hand (I'm right handed, which usually means movement with left hand, but not in this game..) but I still couldn't manage to do much other than putting on my shoes. Good job nonetheless.
