Interesting If tiring and not to original- nice art style though.

Very cool! Love the music. I found the collision a bit hard on the holes that you had to fall though. But neat concept and great visuals and music!

Thanks! I appreciate the feedback. I was having trouble with the collisions, but I decided that with the lack of time they would have to do.

saxon-douglass 2011-12-23 03:35

Cool game, the music and visual style are very nice. Maybe the holes should be two blocks wide so the character won't get stuck in them sometimes?

zedreth 2011-12-23 21:53

I thought about the two holes, but then I would most likely have to make it one 2-hole hole per line. Would take a bit extra programming. Two separate holes made it seem... idk better in my opinion. But that you for the feedback.

Thanks, useful information.

Closing the window seems a really odd way to start the game. The collision was sometimes a bit strange, especially when you walk into the crates.

zairon 2012-01-04 20:00

I couldn't really fire a bolt laterally. I tried pressing left and right and pressing space and just pressing space but nothing happened. I could fire down when crouching though I didn't find a reason to.

zedreth 2012-01-04 23:26

I was having difficulties making the instructions page work, so I ended up using the game information tab. Turns out you have to exit that window to start the game. As far as the bolt goes, you should be sure to be still when trying to fire. The crouch-fire is used for when there is a crate directly below the opening and you need to get through. Thanks for the feedback!

Love the music. What program did you use?

matthias_zarzecki 2012-01-08 23:38

Figured it out, it's Mixcraft. Nice work on the composing.

zedreth 2012-01-10 01:59

Yep, mixcraft. I like that everyone enjoyed it!
