I'm Being Eaten By A Spider Queen (And I Don't Like It One Bit!) by L 2011-08-23T20:02:00
First game I've played with an 'Insolence' meter. Nice.

I love procedural audio generation, this was quite a cool idea. I agree with the previous poster, it was very difficult to judge where I was at. Eventually I figured out that there was a crosshair, but even with that everything moved too quickly to really get into the groove.
Great concept, and good execution on the music generation!
Oof, 47 meg download :( I would recommend splitting the .zip up into three separate ones, one for each platform. 15 megs is a lot more manageable!
As for the game itself, I like the art, and wanted to keep playing to see all of it, but it became too frustrating to continue on. Excellent feeling of tension, it was quite nightmare-ish, so you nailed that aspect of it!
Very cool graphics and sound. The whole experience was vaguely upsetting, which is to say I enjoyed it greatly :)
Cool cave generation, very pretty lighting!
Yeah, totally see where you were going with this. Cool idea for sure!
Great graphics, I absolutely love the death animations!
Your intro music touched my heart. Inappropriately.
Beautiful graphics and style, very well done. Losing entire thrusters is just way too punishing, though. Still, quite fun!
Nice arts! I kind of feel bad for the little... things though :(
Gorgeous, fun game! Very well done.
Yeah, really beautiful minimalist (procedurally generated?) graphics. Fun game, too!
Excellent pixel art!
Love the art style, and it's a really neat concept. Mouse control didn't feel especially great, I think I would have preferred a real cursor to just the highlighting the selected box.
Pretty cool though!
What an unexpected mashup of mechanics! Nice!
Couldn't quite figure out how to control the rovers... cool game otherwise!
Very innovative idea! Interesting tension in choosing when to ESCape when there are doubts around.
2082 before I fell to my death. Was getting some weird issues with edge-grabbing, where he would grab on to the bottom of a block instead of the side of it. Other than that, really fun, addictive design and a great cohesive art style.
Very cool idea, bomberman mechanics in a zelda-sized world. Would love to see this fleshed out into a full game!
Fun little dungeon crawler! Would have liked to see some treasure, maybe a little character progression or powerups, and a little more variety in the levels. I liked controlling four dudes at once, occasionally using the lesser party members as meat shields :)
Nice musical accompaniment!
'nyan' is surprisingly hard to type over and over
The transition from rat race to indie-dream world feels great. I want to spend more time in that world!
^--- Same here :(
Great little platformer. Wonderful art, nice soundtrack, fun gameplay!
I agree with Frib! Great controls on a really tough little platformer. I really like the vertical wrapping feature you introduce on level 2.
Sharks are crazy, unpredictable beasts! Also, evolution has granted them the power of teleportation.
Best game I've played so far. Wonderfully realized world, great level layout, good difficulty level, and excellent artwork and style. Haven't finished it yet but I absolutely intend to come back and beat it.
One thing, is there really no audio or is that just on my end?
Good controls, although the perspective makes it a little tough to tell where you're jumping sometimes. Fun!
I like the soundtrack, really adds to the feel of being trapped in this maze. Also the maze in this game is a metaphor for life, isn't it? :)
I can honestly say I've neither played a text adventure with platformer elements, nor a platformer with text adventure elements. Good job :)
Surprisingly fun, for as sparse as it is. Controls feel great, too. With a huge swarm of dots behind me, it feels a bit like geometry wars.
Got a lot easier when I realized I could infini-jump!
Also I love the art style! Simple, tiny, effective.
Way cool game!
Also your blog posts are hilarious.
Holy crap, this game has like all of my favorite mechanics, PLUS JETPACKS AND SNOWBOARDS. Incredible.
Really impressive use of the maths! :)
Excellent concept. This is the start of a pretty great, addictive little game.
If there are two things I love in this world, they are sliding block puzzles and good pixel art, and this game has both of them. Fantastic!
It's surprisingly fun to chuck those dinosaurs around. Cute sprites, too. Well done!
