Unfortunately I can't play it. It crashes before anything even shows up, just give an instant "has stopped working" message. And my computer is new, has a good graphics card and I have onpenGL installed.
For what it's worth the videos look fun.
Is the graphics card and ATI or Nvidia? I've been having trouble with ati based cards. :/
This game brought out the psychopath in me. I like it, but at 826 kills there simply weren't any more things to kill :(
Good work, though. I like the graphics :)

Nice arts! I kind of feel bad for the little... things though :(

Crash on startup. Win7 x64.

Same as last guy. Would think nVidia would support open GL on a new card but ho well. Interesting concept, at least, cool to see the escaping being done by someone other than the player for once.
On a new card NVidia supports opengl 3.x, a good place to check the status of your card is: http://www.realtech-vr.com/glview/download.html - there you can see what parts of opengl is supported.
But, i do feel bad that not everyone can play it and i will look into how much work it would be to make the renderer work on 2.1 hardware. The reason i went with 3.3 was because it was new and fun, but it's even less fun when people can't play my game. =)
And, if you'd like you can try again, i've rewritten it so i'll only need 3.1 support.

Works now, but there is something really weird with some sprites, like they're trying to resize to some weird size, use wrong depth sorting, or use wrong portion of the texture. Crashed after a while.

The movement and the mindless shooting was all good, but I really didn't know where I was going with this one... was there a point/endgame?
Worked fine on my system: NVidia GeForce GTX 460.

Geforce 8600GT on winxp, current drivers (open GL version 3.3 reported), crashes after startup.
Traced the exception:
error C3013: input/output layout qualifiers supported above GL version 140
I'm too lazy to mess with your sources to try to find a way to go over it, so I'll either wait or won't rate.
Shigor ->> if you compiled the source, try the highend version since it has different shaders. The lowend version should work but might not look as nice. =)
dogbomb >> no endgame, the plan was to make it unwinnable but i had to spend a lot of time rewriting shaders and trying to make it work towards the end. =)
Rudy >> try the lowend version. =)

Low-end version - crash at start-up. Well, no worries. I rated to my best ability, accounting for the glitch and imagining what it's supposed to be from video/screenshots. I still got a decent gameplay feel.

Lowend version "works" - no crash on start, but all I see is the image "press space to start" which then starts scrolling when I try to move, clicking makes sound effects, but that's about all. Anyway from the video and feature list it looks like a good coding performance in 48 hours, but not that much of a game. Reminds me heavily of Walker on Amiga (would love to see some worthy remake, btw, so hope you won't abandon this)

The basic idea (as far as I got it) looks nice. But there are so many graphical bugs and no goal, it seems.
Btw: Highend on Win7 64 with Radeon 5670 worked fine.

The textures look weird on my computer. The little guys sometimes look like shaking rocks instead. I couldn't get past long as I died very soon always :'(
