This is a fantastic job! I really enjoyed playing it! The primary mechanic of the game is really innovative - I think it's a downside when you turn the generator on the rest of the game is trivialised. To have come up with the artwork, mechanic and smooth implementation within the 48 hours is really impressive :-)!

Indeed great game :)

Very nice indeed. The style reminds me a bit of Another World, which is definitely a good thing. :)

I liked it. In general, for a short game, it's really enjoyable all-around, although it really feels like it needs more depth. This was a 48 hour game, of course, so that's nothing that is actually expected, but I just don't seem to enjoy the wandering around and picking up stuff too much. It feels like it just needs either more puzzle like or more action based gameplay, because the sparks are really just an annoyance. Don't take my criticism wrong to think that I don't like it, it's just that it feels like it could have done more. I really liked the graphics and stuff, however, especially in the opening and ending scenes. They're way too cute to dislike.

Nice work! I love the energy-idea, although it does need some balancing.

That's a very original mechanic, powering machines with your life force, and a very interesting one! It was very fun playing around with the energy levels. +1 for kittens :3

The graphics and animations give the character a very polished feel.

The only suggestion that comes to my mind is to increase the difficulty a bit after powering up the generator. Being able to infinitely recharge from elevators made the game a bit cheap after that. One alternative would be for the beams to turn back on after a short amount of time, so you can't just turn off half the beans, regen at an elevator way back, turn off another half of the beans, etc.

Congratz for the great game!

INNOVATION! I really dig the core mechanic. The art is phenomenal, and the game feels super epic for a 48 hour entry. GREAT WORK!

This needs to be extended into a full game.

Please extend this to a full game, Notch (the creator of Minecraft) made Ludum Dare games and he also kept updating Minecraft (until 1.8 where he sold Minecraft to Microsoft after that update), so if he could do it, then you can do it also, and I do want to see this game be extended to the point where it isn't short and has Multiplayer (Local, Online or Both), It also needs some proper storyline and more characters that can be used

And who's the Black Character at the end of the game. (The one Subject #6 held hands with.)
