Had no problems with XNA. Really liked the art style and audio, but struggled with the control scheme - right alt for sucking resources seemed unneeded (just autocollect resources) and tapping right control to fire each bullet was really painful. Also, they're close to the windows key so I kept accidently pressing that! Think holding to fire would have worked much better. Didn't get to see much of the game as a result, I felt the rapid onset of RSI :(

The game feels really polished, and I was quite excited to play from the main menu alone. In-game, the graphics and sound are just as high-quality and very enjoyable.
In terms of gameplay, I'm not sure I see too much progression or need to go to the other planets. I think they should be smaller or more varied - especially the starting planet, as that forms people's first impressions, and it was getting a bit repetitive after 10 minutes of running around, shooting blobs.
Also, the control scheme is a bit weird; especially having to switch between WASD and arrow keys whenever I entered the ship. Tapping to fire was a bit annoying, as someone else noted. Overall, though, I got on fine.
Sadly the game did randomly crash while I was blasting away on the first planet, after about 15 minutes of normal gameplay.
I also thought it was a shame that the music didn't loop!
Sadly, It crushed in the middle of my game. It has neat graphics but firing bullet by bullet was... uncomfortable
I played this for quite a while - but it would crash after a few minutes every time while piling into a group of aliens and trying to take them all out at once.
Having said that, I kept replaying it hoping it would get past it so it means I was genuinely enjoying myself once I worked out the keys!
Size of the world was 890, then it crashed. noooooooooooo.
The game was funm but, keeping right alt pressed sucks

I quite enjoyed it, though the controls could have been slightly more intuitive (I feel). I had no crash because I played for 10 or so minutes only.

Cool game. The controls was pretty weird though. Also, if you move and fire the bullets go twice as far (I do understand that they should move faster which they do). I think it's a great start for a game :D
I can't get the game to start, I repaired the XNA Redist, but the process stops without error message about 2 seconds after launching it.
I ran the .NET 4.0 installer you included but whenever I try to run the game nothing happens, the process starts and immediately stops. I tried running in admin mode and no-go. I'm running Windows 7 Pro SP1, sounds like other people are able to play it though...
I liked it, but the controls were a little awkward and I wish the music had looped...

thank you all for your comments.. i uploaded a postCompo version with holdink keys instead of tapping all the time.
@s0ulcrusher @Sankacoffee51 the bundled installer was just for xna itself...you have to install .NET 4 seperately
Seems like you fixed all the problems I had with it. Good job - I quite enjoyed it :)

This game has quite a few similarities to the one we made! I like the art and the concept behind the game but I feel that the gameplay and controls were a bit off. The right control/alt keys were a bit of a pain to use but the main annoyance for me was having to keep spamming the button down to attack and also having to press a key to collect resources. There were also a few graphical bugs in the last level. Other than that, like I said great concept and good look and feel :)

I got a decent sized planet but I didn't have enough leveled up gear to clear out the boss planet. Pretty fun, the controls are a little rough on the hands though.
Is it possible to get a Mac/Unix/Web version of this?
Since I can only do web games for now, and because this doesn't have web version, I can't rate this currently. I'm commenting here so that this shows up in my rated games section so that I can come back later and play when I can do downloads.

This is a quite good game, although there didn't seem to be enough ways to use the resources. Also the upgrades felt like they scaled too quickly.
Apart from that it was nice though, if a bit simple.

Sorry, Can't play XNA games on Linux.
I would try it if you had a Web or OSX version.
Sorry, I can't play as I don't have Windows.
