I quite liked the control scheme as it wasnt too difficult even on my touchpad, so kudos there. Otherwise I quite liked the game

I quite liked this, cant wait to see it grow! (I hope it does)
When you said "zelda ripoff" I wasnt expecting it to be something I enjoy (the zelda games never captivated me), but this I can do. With a story it would also be better :P
It wasnt as much fun as it was challenging for me, but like it was said before once you understand it and get the hang of it it feels a lot better. I just think it would be cooler if there was an "easy" mode where if Im half a centimetre away from the object it is a correct guess instead of a fail :P
I'll work on fixing that quick
This is weird, it doesnt crash on my PC... Any chance you could give me the crash log?
I also have to say it was a bit weird at times where I would complete the pattern but it wouldnt work, perhaps it is counting the start and end as a double touch incorrectly at times and therefore failing people?
I have no doubt though that this would have been easier for me to do if I wasnt using a mouse touchpad though, sometimes I was so slow getting from a node to another it would fail me just because Im slower on touchpad than with a mouse.
Finally, I understand you dont need a menu, but you should add a highscore list to the game for people to try aim for, and then the player needs to be able to see it before he/she plays, so you could integrate it on the first "view" so to speak or make a menu for that if you ever include one :)
Well, after playing my immediate thought is that some of the behaviours made no sense to me (launch out then the ship stops, turns and crashes back into the planet it just left) but I thought it was pretty cool
Such a timesink! Enjoyed it though, took me a while to get the right idea for the ladder spell room, but it took me many tries due to user error :P
Not a bad game, I found it quite overwhelming with the number of enemies, and I struggled to keep them back. I basically died because I couldnt kill fast enough.
Otherwise I enjoyed it.
The music wasnt bad, though it got a bit monotonous after hearing it loop the hundredth time. I like the concept of the puzzle platformer, it would be nice to see you continue work on this and have you add some more mechanics. I only played to the the first level with 2 player objects on because I couldnt seem to get past that level so I gave up for now. Congrats on finishing!
I found the menu graphics a bit painful on my eyes, but the rest of the graphics was nice (and well polished too), I think the fact that there was less contrast between the colours in levels that helped. I enjoyed the idea though.
I can +1 that some of the hit detection seemed a bit punishing for the player, but it wasnt impossible to pull off the jumps needed.
I liked it, and the fact that there were quite a few alternative story lines helped. I loved the dialog, it appealed to my sense of humour.
One thing I can say is for some of the sound effects I got drawn out of the story because they ended abruptly, whereas a smoother transition out for them stopping would prevent that.
All the best.
Totally posted in the wrong window -_- stupid copy paste... Uhh, give me a minute...
The music was really nice, and the sound effects didnt put me off, I agree that the slow feel was slightly offputting (I got 14~ FPS).
All in all I feel it is quite solid, nicely done.
Cant say much for gameplay, but the idea is quite innovative and the graphics and theme are pretty much spot on.
Would have been nice to see the final product.
I quite liked the premise and the game play, though it got frustrating trying to place some of the items on the asteroid (the on caution blob thing wouldnt go anywhere) and I ended up running out of fuel twice because of that. Otherwise, solid game.
Win7 x64 - crashed after menu.
Quite enjoyed it, the dual mechanic was quite different.
I like the game idea, it would be nice if more mechanics were added (perhaps more enemy behaviours at some point) as by the end levels it seemed like it was just about waiting for the correct number of enemies to spawn, and then just having fast enough reactions to get them all before they went evil again.
Like the idea in general, and enjoyed the game.
I like the style of the game, as well as the idea. It is a really cool interpretation on small worlds. The hunger was a bit confusing, but it makes for a solid mechanic.
Only ditto from above is really about the music, if it was slightly softer the repetition wouldnt have been as monotonous.
Good job.
Top notch game! I really enjoyed playing, the first alien I saw made me go "OMG ALIENS", was pretty awesome overall I think you did an amazing job, well done.
I didn't seem to do anything that would cause me to get a different task from the secretary, or that made walking around the office do anything. Maybe I am doing it wrong?
Ah, I will fix that as soon as I get home this evening (24 hours with barely any sleep didnt help the fact that I submitted as soon as I was done)
Will take a look and see what I can find.
Ive updated the description to (hopefully) be more helpfull, and put back the link for the .rar version (ie. no install)
As I used XNA you might need the redist for XNA 4.0 (the install manages that, but I linked it anyway, though this also means I can only support Windows/Windows Phone 7 (sorry guys)
It was a solid entry. I could only get 4 though. I seemed to just lose lives randomly for no reason :/
I agree with the thoughts that the screen size is slightly too small, but the music and sound effects were really cool.
Hi there, I cant figure out how to run this, any help would be appreciated.

Quite decent overall, the addition of sound effects could have made the game even better. However it is conceptually sound.
15 dudes were saved in the making of this play & rate :P
the enemies need some balancing, they are fairly hardcore for when they are first introduced, otherwise an amazing concept. I like the strategic elements.
I quite enjoyed it, though the controls could have been slightly more intuitive (I feel). I had no crash because I played for 10 or so minutes only.
the implementation so far was pretty solid, but I like the art style it already has, and it would be cool for you to take the game and complete it.
It looked pretty good. I second the library idea.
I would just like to mention that I couldnt seem to attack (though one enemy did disapear). I hope you end up finishing it at some point :)
If you could help me get it running that would be great, I get the following (Win7, x64):

I like the idea, though the time length caused me to eventually give up and let the red ants win [why shouldnt I let them win, I am ANT GOD! :3 ], pretty cool idea
I like the game play, and the ideas you went for. The controls took a bit to get used to (the movement delay felt disjointed to me, the enemies could have moved twice as fast and you could have had half the "move-delay"). Also, after playing for a while you get a big enough area that you can permanently stay safe and kill the enemy pixels, at which point the game stops presenting a challenge. I feel you could spawn quite a few more enemies than you did, and perhaps if you gave less bits as time went on it would help present an end game.
Forgot to mention I enjoyed it though :P
Also, it would be nice if there was a version without an installer (I saw the zip file had an installer), will have to come back and review this when I get home tonight.
