Surely this is a Jam????? Music is outsourced????

fanatiko 2012-04-23 18:55

@dastry the other people at the credits are the ones who wrote the software I used to create music (Otomata) and effects (sfxr).

unicornpooping 2012-04-23 19:35

won't run for me. just quits :-(

kvisle 2012-04-23 19:48

This was quite good. Only complaint I have, is that the window was a bit small.

You should make more levels for this :)

kj654321 2012-04-23 19:48

Very cool, I love the wall jumping and double jumping.

blob 2012-04-23 20:00

Cant get it to work. ( black screen then crash )

fanatiko 2012-04-23 20:20

@kj654321 a coworker suggested me a "hardcore mode" without the additions, like on the old times of ZX.

I'm sorry the game crashes on some computers. I tested the game on all PCs I have at home and it worked. I found a bug with the SDL initialization in the oldest PC so I added a failback software initialization. Maybe I should have kept some logging in the deliverable.

Wouldn't run for me, I launch it and get "Arnoldbros.exe has stopped working. Windows is searching for a solution to this problem" (Win7 64bit)

Shame, liked the look of this :(

jiddo 2012-04-25 19:15

Quite enjoyable game! The clean graphics and titles in each room reminded me of VVVVVV. Music was pretty eery which set a good atmosphere.

badlydrawnrod 2012-04-25 19:15

I know the theme is Tiny World, but when you chose such a small screen size you took away from the game itself.

arkazon 2012-04-25 19:25

A fairly good little platformer, not sure how the double jump is mean't to work though, sometimes it let me and sometimes it didn't - I assume this was a bug?

Agree with Kvisle in that having a larger window would be a lot better!

benjamin-soule 2012-04-25 19:49

It's not working here too - win7 64b

naufr4g0 2012-04-25 20:00

Graphic is simple, nice and colorful! I only didn't like player animation. :/
I like double jump & wall jump features. I think it needs more levels and more enemies.

kayamon 2012-04-25 21:52

Wasn't able to play it unfortunately (Win7 x64), it crashes inside TinyOAL.dll

I'm glad to see someone else has read Truckers though :-)

jfransham 2012-04-26 18:23

surreal music, well-implemented and retro gameplay, and what looks like a decently-built engine. Shame it was so short and easy, because this is genuinely promising

schattenkind-net 2012-04-26 18:57

5min of gameplay but 5 good one! The color choise is interesting!

tourgen 2012-04-27 22:31

Pretty good. Music was good - more would have been even better. I liked the gameplay. I didn't like the key controls.

refreshcreations 2012-04-29 13:40

Fun platformer! It's got that lovely speccy vibe about it which I like. Good use of otomata and sfxr. The graphics are all very in-keeping. Would like to see further levels in the future :)

endurion 2012-05-03 07:22

Crashes on startup for me, looks like a null pointer.

pythong 2012-05-03 10:41

got the same error as jeffalisk, windows 7 64-bit here

jeffalisk 2012-05-03 11:02

Sorry for the doublepost but I need to clear unplayable games from my list.

catman 2012-05-04 12:36

This really is a tiny game :)
Nice job!!!

julianspillane 2012-05-08 18:36

Cute little platformer. Good job!

robcozzens 2012-05-11 04:54

I would try it if you had a Web or OSX version.

jellyfame 2012-05-13 18:41

don't have windows
