It looked very pretty but I couldn't figure out what I needed to do and found myself quite confused.

I wasnt sure what was going on... haha :)

Hey that was really cool. Just a single button to switch the rails, flying around with a fixed camera on what i'm guessing are some nice spline curves. Very good work, good presentation. I got a 'D' my first try :)

Confusing but pretty! Nice one :)

The music speeding up made me chuckle

rodomont 2012-04-25 16:00

Graphically and aurally this was pretty cool!

I liked the gameplay as well, but the way it restarts when you miss a jump is really frustrating, as you'll usually go back 2 or 3 because you get confused about where you are and it's still going really fast.

Overall cool stuff guys :D

Like the way you speed up the music and the rail speed

frib 2012-04-25 17:55

Nice round world :D
Also the fact that the music speeds up with your speed is funny

I really liked the idea! Also it was quite satisfying blasting through the level like that.

The only real issue I had was that I couldn't always figure out what happened when I teleported back. Were there places where the level was actually constructed to teleport me somewhere or was it always that I failed to jump in time?

The solution I can think of is making you stop when you fail and then increase the speed again giving you some kind of feedback that you failed and had to start over.

So, I really liked it and if the level had been a bit longer it could have kept me occupied for a while. Good work! :)

Cool! I really like the opening - you have to know how to play in order to advance at all, so there is not as much of a chance of not figuring out what you are supposed to be doing.

Neat graphics, cool little world. High mood points from me.

It might have been a bit easier if the camera was zoomed out further. Also a bit short.

It plays the music, and I can hear sound effects, but the screen is black!

angelk 2012-05-09 02:35

Oh no! The video looks nice and I'd love to play, but when I start the game I get some garbled yellow lettering, and the rest of the screen is black :( Hope a bugfixed version comes out, since the game looks fun to play!

@MadGnomeGamer @angelk
We programmed it using two computers, one with Nvidia graphics card and one with an ATI graphics card so we know it supports both of these cards. The game is pretty graphically intense; what is your model of video card? My guess would be that your graphics card doesn't support something that the game needs to run. In a previous project we did I was getting a black screen because my graphics card did not support frame buffer objects.
