I had fun shooting the donuts. It was tough to remember to keep moving.
The game does not start and crashes.
You know what I like? The fact that there are so many options for the controls. You can play pretty much any way you want. Good show! As well as this, playing as a burger who shoots at donuts while the ever-changing world threatens eternal death is a ridiculous situation and I love it. The gameplay is good fun, the difficulty is ideal (perhaps it is worth increasing the difficulty over time?), and I have few complaints.
I have fun with this game, but I think the disappearing sections should be an option, because it really takes away from the experience of fighting hordes of donuts if you are killed without honor in the dark abyss.
Fun going around and shooting, but I think it'd be nice if it took a little longer for each quadrant to change - in the end I just started doing laps shooting straight in front of me trying to keep up.
Neat arcade/survival game. I like the dynamically changing circular maze. Pacing gets a bit monotonous, could benefit from temporary powerups or enemy diversity.
Funny game XD The quadrants could have more time to disappear indeed. But this somewhat became valuable and more hardcore
Pretty simple and sweet. Nice work!
Liked the screen mechanic, kept you from being greedy. But I mourn all the dead donuts... I like donuts.. :)
Sound is a bit too loud and annoying, though an idea of those flashing screens is cool, making player move all the time. By the way we've updated the link to our game, you can check it now
Best use of theme I've seen so far! very good game, the screen vanishes a lil to fast in for my taste not enough time to clear all enemies(which is a must for people who want to complete, which is most gamers)
Innovation 4/5: I liked the hole idea!!!
Fun 4/5: Simple but funny. So difficult!!
Theme 3/5: Simply it's run on a single sreen.
Graphics 4/5: Cute retro graphics!!!
Audio 4/5: Catchy music!!!
Humor 3/5: Lol, I liked the burguer!!
Mood 3/5: I felt good while playing.
Overall 4/5: Good game!!! But too difficult.
That was a lot of fun! I like how even though you're on one screen, the game forces you to keep moving and feels kind of like a fast sidescroller.
Hamburger on steroids. Very fun!
Eh, i suck at fast movement and managing time (to check where and when should i move), interesting concept but everything happens too fast.
This is an interesting concept an and interesting idea! A bit hard for me :).
nice game :) well done
Very nice! Screen goes a little fast, but i think is good because it keeps you running. i'll be playing it so i can get a good highscore :)
Nice game.
The game become repetitive after a while, but is quite fun.
Love pixel art and the game idea. Some power-up could make the game more interesting.
Funny game! Nice mechanich and well suited graphic and music.
And you used XNA!!! You deserve my vote!
I like the unusual protagonist and enemies. The sounds are not meant for me, but from the design point of view, I really like the keep-going-feeling to the game, which adds a nice twist to a, without it, regular 2D shooting game. Flexible key-mappings are also a plus. Fine work :)
Wow! I really like this. I kept playing it and playing it! It was easy to determine the objective and I managed a high score of 496! That makes me feel good, I guess. Excellent work!
This game definitely made me laugh. However, I too was running laps in the end just shooting forward. The pushback when hit was a bit excessive considering how little time you had and how far you had to run (randomly, granted). I got trapped because you can shoot diagonally and there was an enclosed "Staircase" with 5 donuts in there. There was no way I could set up the shots and make it to the next frame while avoiding getting pushed back a couple of inches.
They may have sounded harsh. I really did enjoy playing this entry. With a couple minor changes, you could easily pack this up and distribute it.
nice work
