I really enjoyed this. When I got to the green orb and the screen grew, I was super excited. I hope you keep working on this post-LD, because I would really like to see where it goes. (and what the guy by the house says.)
It's a pretty basic shooter, that should be easy to play, but man is that control scheme jacked up. Why couldn't you just do WASD?
Some colors are practically identical to others, which makes it very frustrating.
Twist ending!
This could be really fun and engaging, it just need to be a bit more challenging. Really interesting concept though.
I really liked this. I've been looking forward to this one since I saw the screencap earlier. The art is really nice, and it bears enough resemblance to a play structure that it can be interpreted as two little girls playing make-believe, which is an ambiguity I really like.
I would really like to see this turned into a rhythm-based puzzle. As it stands, it can be played by waiting for the right moments to mash left or right all the way across.
Not entirely sure what the goal is, but I had fun trying to figure it out.
I wound up playing this a lot longer than expected.
I tried to play pong, but I wound up rotating the monitor with my telekinesis.
This game has cause a stronger visceral reaction than most games I've rated so far. I think you have the framework for a game about bullying. I would really like to see you do something with this post-LD.
I pressed Q expecting some sort of puzzle challenge mode....
Eyestrain: The Game
This is probably the most finished/polished games i've encountered so far this LD.
Disorienting but really fun!
It was pretty fun once I figured out how the lives worked. I like the idea of being a magic cannon-person.
After turning, I kept trying to walk forward with the arrows. Try having all movement controls single-handed, and things like jump/crouch/throw on the other side of the keyboard.
Fun idea tho!
I like the game. It gets really hard really fast though XD.
(to be fair, I'm not very good at reaction or timing -based games)
Shit. I should have listened to the picture guy DX
I wound up getting caught in suspense. Good job. The walking is so slow, it kind of encourages giving up when you reset though.
Best control teaching of any game I've played yet this LD
I had to figure out the controls purely through trial and error. It also took me a while to realize not to collect the snails. I like the cigarette smoke as a weapon though.
It wouldn't load in either of my browsers. (like, no load bar)
I tried the windows download, but when i try to play: "Unable to load mono library from [file directory]"
I might be missing something, but I cant make that first jump. its really tall.
I like the banana gun!
Seems like a funny concept but I have no idea how to play. I clicked all over and mashed every button. All I know is I lose if I click the green bar?
I liked the freezing mechanic. I feel like you should have been able to push the ice blocks/frozen enemies though.
The menu made me think of using powerpoint back in highschool XD
The controls were a little disconcerting, but once I realized WASD direction was relative to how the player was facing I could kind of go where I meant to. It was a fun concept, I think you could make something really cool if you continue with it post-LD
The adult never came close enough for me to observe when I had to learn to walk. Only once when I was still reading the description. I reset the level and game a few times, and waited super long. :/
seems interesting though.
the game was bigger than my screen (web version)
