+ The game has eyeball-pleasing 3d graphics.
- Almost everything is gray. :)
+ The game has a beautiful soothing audio track.
- The track is only about 20 seconds long, after that you are left to enjoy the sound of silence.
+ The game tries to progress a storyline through dialog boxes.
- Every time you return to the mothership, the game tells you in a dialog box it intends to use dialog boxes to tell progress the storyline. :)
All in all: good effort, keep it up!
It's a promising start. It would have been interesting to see what you could do given a few more days with Unity.

If you are interested, I am continuing work on it through the judging period, details on my website. I agree that it feels promising but incomplete, not nearly as polished and without that core element of fun so well demonstrated in the other entries in this competition. I hope you all will share your uncensored feedback and help me craft a much more enjoyable experience!! =D

Quite similar to my game, albeit 3d.
It's a shame that there seems to be more variety missing. Glad you keep working on it, this could be nice!
Please, capture the mouse. After rotating several times I could not fire since the mouse pointer was outside the unity window.

Probably a bit too ambitious for 48 hours, but I'd be interested to see what this becomes given a bit more development time.

I really like where you were going with this. The hyper sensitive mouse controls were annoying. I also wasn't sure what I was doing when I collided with various objects (the game didn't give me clear enough feedback).
I definitely agree there is promise here, it just needs a bit more work.
Good job!

Hey pretty swish game! I think it may because of the grey but i love the desolate atmosphere of the planets, it creates great ambience. Love to see how this turns out!

Nice job mate, I wish you had some more audio. The game could use more color besides the green aliens and red hard to aim shooting. Also, I ended up dying right after painstakingly collecting 30 crystals for my suit upgrade, and when I traveled back the planet died right away as I landed right on an alien. Good start, needs some work to be great.

The scanner should be enabled from the beginning. :) Also the mouse outside window bug is weird.

very soothing, I quite liked the ambience. Graphics are simplistic, but this can evolve nicely.
While the compo version definitely doesn't feel like a complete game yet, it has some great ideas that I'm sure would be much better when polished. The little ambient music when you land should probably loop, but what plays is a very nice touch. I couldn't figure out how to repair the mothership, so maybe making the dialogs a bit more intuitive would make it more obvious. Graphics were a little too basic, especially the laser effect - I couldn't tell I was shooting a laser unless I thought about the light position. Finally, a minor glitch, the mouse would not lock to the game window and hide itself so I couldn't turn a lot.
It felt like there was a lot of plot development that was planned, so I was compelled to imagine what that would be like, making it a bit more of just what it was. Excellent ideas all around, just needs more polish.
