Epic Treasure Hunter by sirGustav 2010-12-21T03:58:00

Overall solid game, the graphics while simplistic, work pretty well, though i wish there was more variation in the level

Jungle by someone 2010-12-20T07:25:00

good start, but unfinished, you can fall into pits and get stuck since the spikes don't hurt you. Where are the animals from your 2nd screenshot?

Anacalypse by bildramer 2010-12-23T19:55:00

Gameplay fell kinda flat. Not much to do other than pick a random direction and start digging around. Some sorta indication of where you've been, like a map, might help.

Prophecy by PaulSB 2010-12-21T04:48:00

I second what Hamumu said, the interface could be improved, but I really like the concept. It kept me engaged for a full play through, and it would be even better with another polish pass.

Quest for the Four Altars! by Staggy 2010-12-23T22:07:00

There's a bit of a sound bug: holding jump while underwater will continuously play the jump sound. Good start of a basic platformer, I just wish there was something to do.

Purgatory Area by ToadieTechnika 2010-12-21T06:20:00

I'm not really sure how it relates to the theme, and the only thing that's challenging is the awkward mouse controls. The audio is pretty good, though.

Circus Peanuts by NMcCoy 2010-12-20T07:21:00

Good sound + music. The minimalist/placeholder graphics work ok because they're animated well, but I think some indication of which direction your character is facing would be helpful.

Disco?Very! by Martoon 2010-12-20T07:49:00

Hilarious take on the theme! I seem to screw up a lot on the downward points, since I'm thinking left arm = left hand, but it's point left = left hand.

A Discovery Lost by pauloseamano 2010-12-21T03:17:00

Not really sure how moving around on a board and getting "score" relates to exploring a new world. There seem to be some bugs, I was able to choose a unit number that was higher than the amount I actually controlled, and the game got stuck in a cycle where it kept asking to move that unit.

Deep sea discovey by piotrekb 2010-12-23T19:14:00

Fun, but the gameplay is more about collecting before your oxygen runs out.. it doesn't really feel like discovering. I didn't have any problems running the game, but the pink enemy's collision box is about twice it's size.

Colony Tycoon by Andrew Marsh 2010-12-20T06:30:00

Controls are really weird, the acceleration should be capped at some reasonable number.

The Jelly Caves by Darkhogg 2010-12-21T03:27:00

Nice game, sometimes red jellies seem to push you inside a wall. I think the speed of the red/blue jellies is fine, it makes it a pretty frantic game when you're running from a bunch of red jellies!

...You Are A Duck! by KoryWazHere 2010-12-20T04:47:00

jumping doesn't work for me. I think it could be more challenging if the movement was a bit more slippery.

Pass it! v1.1.5 by Folis 2010-12-21T04:04:00

I got stuck on the top of a ladder :/ But a good game idea, fits with the theme fairly well.

Alphabet Trader by devinmoore 2010-12-21T02:46:00

Controls don't seem to work consistently, I couldn't move to the right half the time. I couldn't figure out what to do besides draw red lines around.

-REACH- by Zachary Lewis 2010-12-20T04:45:00

Cool basic mechanics & concept. I think you could take the strategy further with some additional mechanics like scanning planets. I wish you could zoom out the view, or get a better idea of which planets you already went to.

DirectionsTranscend by Devenger 2010-12-21T05:34:00

Interesting idea.. but it can be very slow at times, and frustrating when you can't recover from slight errors.

Scarab Amazing by bernardfrancois 2010-12-21T03:00:00

real solid game, a little disorienting at first but once I got the hang of pushing the areas around it was really fun.

Reflective Discovery by Fififox 2010-12-21T05:28:00

Good start! It's pretty easy to beat just by trial and error. Not really much discovery going on here, besides uncovering the hidden reflectors/lasers. I think the gameplay could be taken further if there were more options/combinations for the paths the lasers could take.

LoneMine by OddOneOut 2010-12-20T07:14:00

pretty challenging, you have to mentally keep track where you've been, and it took me a while of wandering at 4 crystals before I backtracked to the boss room and finished it. You could have just took out the whole boss thing and it would be still be fun & challenging.

Hat Quest by FireSlash 2010-12-23T21:59:00

The controls seem a little too fast in the x direction, and without any acceleration. Music is pretty solid.

This Is Digger by txa-ea 2010-12-23T19:43:00

Pretty simple digging mechanics, but fun, I like how the red skeleton can help you out sometimes. There's a few areas where the graphics could be polished up to be more consistent, like the "NOW WITH MORE GHOSTS" message that comes up between levels. Audio is retro, but a little harsh at times.

Into the brain by Hane 2010-12-21T02:47:00

Your download link is dead.

Very Lonely In A Spaceship by tusongtupa 2010-12-21T05:20:00

Couldn't figure out what to do... at least put some initial instructions up. Normally hacking games start with some sort of command prompt.

It's A Frickin' CAVE by Hempuli 2010-12-20T06:49:00

Excellent job, especially after a reboot! I'm thinking the collision with front facing walls could be a little closer, but other than that, you've got a really slick game.

Mother Robot by increpare 2010-12-21T06:13:00

Fantastic execution! Good audio and a really challenging puzzle mechanic. I had a little trouble figuring out what to do at first, and you might want to just get rid of the C key as jump, I hit it a few times on accident and died. Aside from that, I really enjoyed this!

Husk by Jonathan Whiting 2010-12-21T05:05:00

Pretty cool idea, the audio + visuals set a nice mood, but its hard to keep track of where you are in the level. I wasn't able to finish it. It would be nice to have a meter for your power too.

Light Source by flashkick 2010-12-23T21:33:00

I'd change the wall collision, or at least make them look dangerous, like spikes etc. And the controls could be less slippery, If you improved those couple things and added a bit more gradual difficulty curve, I think you'd have a real solid game!

Autoflotilla by Sparky 2010-12-20T07:35:00

Neat prototype! I think this is the start of a really interesting RTS. I'd like to somehow rally my 1st island boats over to another windmill, once they run out of cargo there's not much to do.

Corpse Runner by mklee 2010-12-21T05:11:00

Not really much more than a simple maze game.. the twist just makes it take longer.

LD24 — Evolution

Hunt'em! by Zamando 2012-08-30T20:02:00

Really slick, I love the art style, though I kinda of wish there was some sort of special ability other than just walk around.

Fungus Wars with Tone Matrix by zuloo37 2012-08-28T04:35:00

Game locked up on the upgrade screen after I got about 7000 score. Other than that, was a pretty fun shooter. I like the generative audio, might be neat to flesh out more of a melody that gets filled in rather than just random notes, but as the game progressed it made some interesting sounds. I upgraded bullet spread to the point where I was just surrounded by a swarm of bullets and couldn't tell which were enemies or my own. Changing the color of your/ the enemy bullets might solve this issue.

Improv by benderbinary 2012-08-30T04:09:00

Quite a strange looking game. Could use a bit more than basic platformer mechanics to be interesting gameplay-wise, but it's quite a good first attempt!

Vicariously by pdyxs 2012-08-30T03:59:00

The loading between turns could have been handled a little better, it sometimes seems like the game locked up, but I got the general gist of the game. I like the idea of creating an entire civilization that could expand throughout space and encounter other players. It seems like this is a good start to a solid and unique multiplayer turn based strategy game, though it would be neat to see an overview of the entire live ecosystem.

Emergent Dungeon by attagcatc 2012-08-30T03:32:00

I dunno how you're hosting this, but chrome is giving me malware messages when I dl it.

Wolf vs Jackalopes by wizbane 2012-08-30T19:48:00

AdventureIslands, I think you've commented on the wrong game here. There aren't any bombs in my game!

Evolution is exciting by nili 2012-08-30T03:39:00

Yeeaa... not very exciting, but I can sorta see where it's going. I wasn't exactly sure how to manipulate the genes and get it to do anything. Better instructions could help.

Infect by Timster Studios 2012-08-28T04:21:00

Neat idea, seems like you got the core mechanics down, and it would be interesting to see this idea taken further. It would be helpful to explain the controls somewhere, it took me a while to figure out what buttons to press.

Place of Origin by evilseanbot 2012-08-28T04:51:00

Nice game! The graphics seem a little rough, but the horse is animated quite nicely. The music is clean and simple, and does a good job to create the introspective mood. Other than a brief mention in the intro, I can't see how the theme has been addressed.

Men In Wings by byrono 2012-08-28T04:11:00

Overall seems like a functional and well executed game, though the plane is difficult to control and feels very slow without any upgrades. I'd say start out with a plane that feels "normal" then have the upgrades add more from there.

I don't really see how evolution fits in, other than just as a button label. It really is just upgrades. Also, I can't help but notice the aesthetic and gameplay seem quite heavily inspired from Vlambeer's LUFTRAUSERS... which might not have been as apparent if the theme was better incorporated.
