I wondered when I was going to see a game doing this ;) Interesting, execution suffered a bit due to time but not too badly.

I dunno how you're hosting this, but chrome is giving me malware messages when I dl it.

I couldn't get past the text adventure, a rat killed me.

the rat battle kinda takes forever, it's a shame there's nothing past the platformer section too. platforming section wasn't too bad but the attack was so pathetic you were better off just dodging everything. Definitely a different take on evolution.

It is a good idea. Too bad you didn't have enough time to expand on it.

Nice idea. The text adventure was pretty interesting, if not a bit long. And the rat fight could have been shorter. The platforming part had pretty good physics. Nice job!

I liked that you combined them both

Liked that you made it a text adventure, didn't like that it was unclear what to do with enemies (no appropriate command and no obvious actions to perform to evade them). Also wish shorter action synonyms were supported.

Making your own text adventure from scratch is ambitious!

Unfortunately, it looks like you just didn't have enough time to get it working really well or test it much. I can't ATTACK or TAKE or LOOK AT, and I see a bottle in these cupboards but then I'm told "There is no bottle." What is this, the Matrix?

Would have liked to see the platformer part but it's a little too frustrating for me to want to stick with it past that, sorry!

The text part really reminds us how powerful the player's imagination is as a tool for the designer! In some ways, your graphics for that section were as good as Skyrim, since I imagined that while playing. ;)
Unfortunately I gave up after dying on the rat combat, due to not being able to identify the right command to attack (use stick, attack, attack rat, etc). But it's cool, reminds me of the first games I designed, using paper and pen while on school. That felt very nostalgic to me. :D
Congratulations on your entry!
