I like Robot Ricochet, and I liked this game a lot! The graphics are lacking a little but they work very well for this type of game, I perished many times. Very cool concept and I had fun playing! :]

well... this is absolutelly stunning idea! Really! I enjoyed it a much. IMHO theme for jam is not very strong but really... as game this one has huge potential! Keep it up!

This is quite splendid! The graphics are more than enough for a title like this. The backstory is funny and it gives a reasonable explanation for this crazy place to exist

Got 70 kills and 54 gold in the end. It would have been nice to see the amount of perished drinking buddies as well, as I did lose of few of them along the way, much to my dismay.

There is the issue of challenge and randomization. For most of the time not taking any hits is quite easy, albeit pleasant. Yet quite frequently it is borderline impossible to keep everyone alive when a host of new enemies spawns in.

Of course winning only requires the main character to survive, but this is a trivial task through out the day as there is ample room to manouver around enemies in the beginning while there's always a large posse of drinkards around him in the end.

I challenged myself by personally vouching for the wellbeing of each member of the party and as such I was quite annoyed by the RNG.

There are a few solutions I can think of:
- Keeping the party size smaller (reduces the amount of impossible spawns) and making individual members tougher (makes the HP potions more useful as well).
- Another possibility is to spawn in less enemies at a time or to spawn enemies at specific locations so that the player can move their comrades out of harm's way even before the harm gets there.

Of course this issue applies only if you wish everyone to survive, but as I said that is the only way to make the experience challenging in the long run, i.e fun.

Found one bug as well. The archers can see through walls, which locks them in place for quite a while at times.

Overall a well made entry, I'm nitpicking.

Really fun to play. Got some double kills ;) I used to have a game like this on my 2000s brick phone.

Fantastic! The game suddenly got easier on Hour 24 when I *finally* figured out the mechanics on how to kill particular people. For the first 23 levels I thought it was something about surrounding them that I wasn't quite figuring out, never realized the different members of the gang behaved differently! Great room design too!

Oh boy, that was really awesome! I felt like playing Atari 2600, but in a very good way (probably because of the SFX). The simple mechanics along the interesting twist make this one of the most interesting entries for me!

afinkyu_pheaky 2016-12-15 21:50

A lot of fun to be had with this one. It started of easy enough, but quickly grew hectic and exciting. Might be my favorite so far. Very nice entry.

Great game. very interesting idea. I like it.

marcosfl 2016-12-16 23:23

That was great. I loved how the game kept getting harder and harder, adjusting itself to our knowledge of it. Another great point is the HP of the main character, that for what I've seen doesn't regenerate. That makes every hit count, we've got to be careful if we want to get far in the game! Good job :) and also, thanks for the in depth feedback on my game

Fantastic game

mrerdalural 2016-12-18 14:42

Really loved the amount of different enemies and allies. Fun mechanics. There is nothing to complain. This is a very good game!

Wow. I love this game (and I played it until I was acquitted).

Really nice work for 48 hours!

almax27 2016-12-20 22:23

Great idea and excellent execution, didn't really even notice the pieces weren't moving I was imagining it like a dynamic game of chess :D

Would love to see more player skills and maps (I get it one room :P)

oddly-shaped-pixels 2016-12-21 13:58

Amazing idea, I didn't expect to get so hooked up.
One of the best entries I've played so far!

sos 2016-12-21 22:38

Oh wow! This was really nice! Got to Hour 13! I love the level design and enemy variety!

screamrawr 2016-12-28 16:27

Loved this entry! A lot of fun

fabsy 2016-12-29 04:52

This is very nice! I wasn't expecting much but this entry took me by surprise. It's rather addictive and well executed for such a simple concept.

I liked the discovery of new enemies and their mechanics in each new level. I can see the potential for a lot more strategy when taking into account the different enemy attack patterns and armor/stats or even player weapons/equipment, as well as environmental elements.

Btw I'm also loving the new revised graphics! Looks like it's in a good path, but it just seems a bit disconnected from the game's current backstory (which is not bad per se).

It was fun. Well done!
