OH! I get it!
A little awkward with the controls, no animation and no sound I can hear, but excellent game play mechanic!

OH! I get it!

Brilliant. Got to level 36 before I gave up. I'm sure I'll play this for more than 48 hours it took to write it... WIN!
Finished the game! Boy that last level is hard! Excellent game, well done.
Got it working on Linux by
1. Adding the LÖVE PPA (https://launchpad.net/~bartbes/+archive/love-stable)
2. Adding LÖVE with (sudo apt-get install love)
3. cd into the installation directory
4. run "love ColouredWorlds.love"
Oh that's nice, very nice. The game mechanic is excellent, never seen that before.
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: com/cryo/Main : Unsupported major.minor version 52.0
Very nice - top rated! Excellent graphics and attention to the theme.
Oh I was disappointed until I saw what you did with the power-up purchase system! That was nice!
Clever concept! :)

That's a crazy little game! Nice balance, without ever getting boring.
I think you might have started this one before the 48 hours? I'd say this would hit the short list for the snowman theme that's for sure. Nice job!
That was a lot of fun, even in my tired and humourless state I was able to raise a smile :)
Very nice - this could be a winner!
To run under Linux, you have to run "java -jar SpiralDungeon.jar" from a command prompt in the SpiralDungeon_jar directory.
Just checking the Windows port now.
OMG Windows port works... without modification! All hail LibGDX!
Now for sleep.
Ah well there's only so much you can do with the time when you have other commitments. The monsters aren't animated because I spent more than 2 hours working on the Animation class from libgdx and couldn't work out how to apply it to Sprites. Also spent another two hours trying to debug a problem where the shadows cast by the walls were also being cast by the monsters in a very unrealistic fashion. It turned out I had two parameters to PointLight.setContactFilter round the wrong way :P
Sound was added at the last minute - the sample is me hitting two pencils together - and played at 1/d^2 volume every time the monsters on the level take a step. The biting sound is me snapping my fingers.
Do you think its permisible to add an objective and a win-condition after the deadline? I might host a bug-fixed verssion
If you have the 'tiled' map editor, you can edit the map yourself to remove monsters and reduce the confinement near the end of the game.
I might be able to upload an update, considering the game is practically unfinishable in its current state?
The links are back up - I upgraded the server and the apache process didn't start up :(
Right mouse not working on Linux
Very impressive, I love the personalities of all the different ships.
That's a nice little mechanic you guys have there. Has that been used anywhere else?
Great happy feels in this game!
Sorry I don't have time to finish it and add graphics, music and multiple levels.
Very sorry to hear that @bloham , I was hoping the instructions were enough! The arrow keys (or W.A.S.D) move you around the screen, and you need to get to the exit.
