If done well, I could see this idea having potential. Also, the "TV screen" idea was a bit cliche but humorous nonetheless. Having done a lot of LDs (most in 2-person teams)... well, you two will get there soon! The graphics on the screen itself were.. ah.. confusing to say the least, and the control scheme was a bit difficult...

BUT

Same thing happened on my first, well, 3 or so entries. Don't get discouraged :) Practice makes perfect.. and keep coding (and modeling, and drawing, and audioing!)

Maybe the game would be a little more enjoyable, if not for the controls, that rendered the game unplayable for me.

Well. That was a big house isn't it?! :p
There's an incredible amount of content, for a jam. But unnecessary really.
Maybe you should have done more little house and work more on other things?

About the gameplay:
Movement of the player feels weird. Like if he's slipping.
Too bad the programming of the "find the object thing" doesnt work really

The trick to fit the theme is a bit easy, too, I think.

See you with better skills at next game jams I hope! :)
Never get discouraged! Game jams are hards! :P

Very cool for a first project. Obviously a lot to work on but liked how you treated the theme :)

The controls were slide-y and felt really frustrating to use. Maybe increase the dampening and acceleration so that it feels more responsive.

Graphically the z-fighting was a bit distracting and the text through the walls actually made it kinda fun to play (since I could see that the target was on the level and then I could use the minimap to find my way there)

It wasn't very clear what the point of the game was when started, eventually I found the first thing and the text went from not found to found and it pinged! So good user feedback on that front!

Nice game! Keep on game makin'!

The controls were too difficult to use. You constantly slide all over. Furthermore, for this sort of game, I would recommend not having a time limit on finding an object, as checking just one level can probably take about 30 seconds in the first place. I feel it would be better as a more relaxed game, though you could have a timed mode if you wanted.

Funny game, innovative as well. I see where this is going, but I quit playing quite fast cause the controls got a bit annoying. Good luck with your next game, this is our first LD aswell and as starting developers I think you and me can be really proud of our games!
