Hi, nice game and congratulations ! We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #36. We made the same thing at the previous jam.
Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description.

Took me a while to grasp the idea. :) I think there is some bug with "prices" (the blue numbers), when the mouse is out of the game board. Great job overall and fresh idea!
I really like the art sprites and the concept :) I had some trouble mashing the spacebar to proceed from the menu, and I echo @m110 saying about the bug with the numbers. Once I found the submenus though I got the hang of it!

Fun game. It was hard for me to discover the controls and the game mechanic but overall fun! Good job!
Nice game, had trouble understanding why I couldn't place certain building before seeing the numbers at the top.
The concept is fun and nicely executed well done :)
Mechanics little complicated but after a few minutes I realized what was going on . I like your game : D
Nice game, i dont understanding what i need to do in beginning, but after a little time i understanding , nice game your game idea its good

Others have already sayed it but it's like reallllly hard to understand what to do. May be put values of object next to them instead of at the top would help a little.
Great to see SFML used :). Good job.
Not very responsive interface. Please change the submenu to food. I could not understand what you see the felling of the tree, not the tree. Need a message in case nothing happens. In the game there are a lot of actions that lead to nothing. This is a great puzzle. The player feels elation, if he managed to figure out how to build a tree.
My teammate Pablo says: The concept looks good, but the gameplay needs a little more polish. There's not enough interactivity and it's never clear where, what and how to do things.
I actually couldn't play because it wasnt responding :/

Really good concept interface needs a little bit polishing and this can be really nice game. I feel like there is only one path on start maybe balance it more towards there are multiple paths but you can screw yourself if you choose wrong :)
Nice concept, but a little hard to understand the interface at first. After that barrier it becomes an interesting and enjoyable puzzle. :)
Nice progression idea. I found it a bit too fleshed out but that's pretty normal for a compo entry. I think you have got a nice base for a post event, development project.
Good job!
A nice concept, but a little confusing at first. It was fun little game though, and the graphics were decent.

Very interesting game. Nice puzzle concept.
Maybe it could help if the caracteristic of a element appears when we go hover in the menu.
It hard.. but it's very smart! Congratulations!

This is a really nice puzzle type game. I enjoyed working out how to develop the board and the economics. I liked that there was no time aspect and that destroying gave all resources back purifying the puzzle part. Overriding a tile is great feature!
I like the sprites and and the game mechanics. The display of information especially at the tile selection (cost of tile, current selection) could be hugely improved. Maybe add an adjacency bonus for tiles to make the board matter more.
Nice work!

That game is way more complex than i expected. All building are well balanced and player really has to think and plan ahead before building somethig.
At first i was a bit lost and wasn't sure what to do but after a while i got grasp on the game mechanics. I like graphics, shame there is no sound but that understandable due the time limitation. Good job!

This game has more depth than I thought.
It has a big chance to confuse players at start, but after grasping the rules here, you could find some interesting challenges inside

By the way, I didn't notice obvious effects from adjacent tiles, then what's the purpose of a 5x5 board?
Fun strategy game! I suck at it but, I think if I played it longer I would get better. I like the simple 2d graphics also.
I found that the numbers/cost of stuff were a little hard to read. Maybe have each resource have a different colored number if needed so that you don't have to look for a long time to know what resources u need. EX- If u need population change number to green and other numbers that stay zero/you don't need, stay blue!
Cool game though!
Charming graphics! I included it in my compilation video series of Ludum Dare 36, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/ZcipQ8HIrLI

Wow, I love the game concept. It took me quite some time to get what I was supposed to do (not that it needed explanation, I just didn't know what kind of strategy I should be using). Very difficult at the beginning.
I like the combination of resource management and puzzle gameplay. However, the costs didn't always seem very logical. For example: Why does a sky scraper cost less money than the lower-level building? The "holy cow" is funny :D
The graphics are nice, it's all you need for such a game. The GUI on top is a bit confusing. It would be nice if you could see what building you currently have selected in the building menu and not show the resource +/- values if your mouse is not over one of the 5x5 tiles.
In gerenal, with a bit of polishing and balancing, this could be quite a good and challenging game!
