Sweet game, brah

Really fun! Sat and played until I got to the boss, but I stopped being able to damage it.

The concept of throwing the kid is pretty fun and clever with the switches, though the weapon when you switch to the kid is pretty traditionally zelda-like. I enjoyed the "temple" graphics and sound/music theme quite a bit.

I really couldn't figure out what to do when I got to the "boss fight."

I have seen many entries that have really funny weapons, and this is one of them. I laughed for a minute when seeing the kid being tossed back and forth, especially because the defender said "I will protect you".

Your concept resembles The Legend of Zelda a lot, you could have done it more original with rooms that were not squared, shaping the dungeon differently maybe.

Many participants used the "throw people" concept, but I don't blame you for it because many of us have thought how funny it would be to toss your friends into enemies.

Great job!

to be honest, i love the art, the gameplay quite fun, keep up the good work!

Had a ton of fun playing this. The dialogue at the start was a hilarious setup for the kid toss mechanic. There were some nice game design elements, like the enemies being on top of the laser buttons triggering them.

Unfortunately I bugged out on one of the moving platform rooms (I died and the platform never reset) so I didn't get to finish ):

One polish I would add is having the enemies fade or pop in as they spawn to give the player time to react to them appearing (also it would look nice). Great work overall!

I like the gameplay. switch between style attacks is very cool!

Fun game! I broke it when I fell off one of the moving platforms though. It would be interesting to see what other puzzles could be done with this mechanic. I didn't feel the need to block ever (though, I didn't get to the boss)

Switching between the two characters and using their various abilities was really fun. I really like the visual style as well -- nice work!

really fun game. Was lots of fun to fling the kid around. Felt like it may have been better if the spiders chased you, but thats just personal preference. well done

nice zelda style, 1 bug i met was when i hit the switch to move the platform and died i couldnt get pass it anymore

efux 2015-04-22 19:37

Nice entry with a very diverse gameplay. At one point I also encountered the bug mentioned by retrophantom and I had to start over.

triplevisiongames 2015-04-23 08:51

Really good audio, and the idea is cool too. I glitched it by making the floating platform move without me and got stuck :(

fueelin 2015-04-26 06:49

I liked this a lot, but I did get to a point I couldn't progress past. I died on the moving platform that you activate with the button on the wall. I respawned and the platform was still on the opposite side and would not come back. I could run over the abyss (!) up to the platform but not past it. Still, great job!

Nice visual style - solving puzzles by throwing a kid at them was rather funny as well.

I like switching mechanic, it's pretty fun and effective if player will get use to it. Gameplay is fine but could use some variety. In Overall i enjoyed the game :D

I'm really impressed with how much of a zelda-like dungeon crawler you implemented. Having traps and different weapons was cool, but I wish there were more reason to switch characters. There also didn't seem to be a penalty for dying (it even got me through some screens faster) which kept the frustration level low but didn't make me want to learn how to play better. Making the screens more like Zelda where there's some gimmick to "solving" each room would help the challenge. Music and mood were great though!
