When I finally found the marble I was kinda happy but kinda not because the ending screen was not really promising :D
Gameplay is nice, I like that it's fast paced. Text screens at the start were too fast to read tho (at least for me). Monsters can be walked around - is that intentional? I feel that if they weren't, the game would be much harder, so it is probably intentional. Also would be nice to see character's position on the mini map.
Graphics and sound are great, really bring the atmosphere (of devil's insides).
It was a pretty nice maze game, but the UI was hard to tell what was going on. The candle was difficult to read and so was the minimap. I really liked the look of the main menu screen, and I wish that the look had carried through to the actual game. But really creative enemy designs and enjoyed the music!
Overall, this is a pretty good game :) The UI could definitely use some work though, it was very hard to see what's what when first loading the game. Also, the text at the beginning was way too fast. Both graphics and music were pretty good! Please remember to rate other Ludum Dare games yourselves, otherwise people won't find your game easily. The more games you rate yourselves, the more people will rate your game!

I had to keep resetting just to read the story. The font was good, fit the theme, but not great to read. So give players more time when using hard to read fonts. I played a handful of times, I was not sure what kept killing me. What teeth? there was no indication I was dying. maybe make the bad guys visible and burn the lantern quicker rather than being a surprise your dead screen. then I found the marble right away on my next game. I did not get to explore very far. Seems like too much is based on luck in that respect. I was a little concerned about the graphic to the right. I'm thinking its supposed to be a candle but it looks like a broken egg dripping down the screen. Could have put some more work into that, or just made it a meter. The drawing on the loading screen was the best part of the game. I liked how the intestines were generated, but it severely took away from the game-play. I would have liked a more hard-coded/designed maze more I think, one that insured a decent length of play time. resetting the game until the marble is right next to you is the quickest way to beat the game? or maybe i was just really lucky. Why make the marble spawn right next to the player? Sound was right on! Ending needed work. Great concept! Did great in humor and innovation. GOOD WORK!

The atmosphere in this game is spot-on. The player character is very charming, I love it! The first time I ran into a monster, I was genuinely scared by the sound effect :cold_sweat: When I tried playing again, I was fully engaged, flicking my light around as I slowly inched my way around. The monster AI is simple but effective. I love that I can walk somewhere, reach a dead end, turn around, and there stands a monster, frozen in place, that I was about to walk into. This may be underappreciated, but the fact that the game is actually very beatable is refreshing for me, having played many LD games that just become ridiculously hard to the point where it feels unfair. Once I figured out my strategy, I felt like I was in control, but I still had to play carefully.
Loved the music by the way, my favorite is the end-screen guitar loop :musical_note: Reminds me of the Dwarf Fortress tune, which I really liked.
When I finally found the marble, I heard the sound effect again, but this time it was in a positive context, so it felt kind of like I had conquered my fears :triumph:
Super solid game, awesome work.

The game was pretty interesting. I think that the first time I see this concept so far, pretty fun ! I love the audio even i'm not really fan of the graphics. Well done !

Nice idea! Sound was pretty good, good music. Though graphics are not polished, I like the sad looking demon and the background. Gameplay could be improved, since there is not much choice to be done, except for just being careful when walking.
Story is original, refreshing and shows great potential. Good work!!
This game reminds me of Lisa. So creepy. Great job!

Very good music, and a completely different theme/feeling to the game. The power mechanic didn't seem to be too important. I ended up with way more power (candle?) than I started with. I did have several tooth monsters following me around though. Unlike any other games I've seen this LD. Well done, entertaining, and unique, if not just a little short. I agree with what others have said about the speed of the initial screens. I had to play it two or three times to read the whole thing. When I finally reached the end, I wasn't sure if that was the end or if it was loading another level or waiting for me to do something. Anyway, thanks very much for the game. It was cool.
I would recommend adding a screenshot to the page, anyways, cool game :)

Humorous game with good atmosphere. I like how player really has to explore as fast as possible but also watch out for teeth-monsters, lantern mechanic add a lot to mood. Graphics are good looking and easy to read, audio fits the overall tone. Cool game with nice concept.
