Lol this is great, good game really :D nice entry.
This was a really good concept and the art and audio is great, but I found it difficult to get into the game. The tutorial is kind of an information overload.
Hi! I assume (might be wrong) that you wanted alchemy as the theme, we did too haha. You've made a really complete game, lots of recipes, funny text, nice visual, the music, there is a lot going on here! And it works really well. I have to say given the many recipes it could have helped to have the pictures of ingredients instead of lists, just to make it a bit faster in the cooking. Congratulations to the hole team!
Really cool Idea, Art is cool and the music fits into the game well done.
Really neat concept! I included it in my compilation video series of Ludum Dare 36 games, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/ZBKvUw84G7I
Oh man... it probably took me an hour to finish the game :). Everyone was healed. No one died. No one was sent to temple... but it was soooo long to read all illness descriptions and find correct one for every symptoms :). I think you could easily reduce amount of levels that is necessary to finish the game(in any case illnes types repeated a lot). I really enjoy alchemy part with counting. Also I like the investigation part, where you are trying to match given information to the known facts. It would be nice to have some visual symtomps, like red/blue dots (but I guess there was not so much time to draw and code this). Also I really like the graphics and music.
...interesting to know what is in another ending :). Good job. ...for the Emperor!
That's quite an original concept, which brings an unique crafting mechanic, although hard to get it right. Music is very pleasant too, nice entry! :)
@Biliogadafr, Thanks for the long review man. And laso thanks for really finishing it. We tohught about visuals but only a few of the illnesses have those so coding and entire database would be a waste of jam time. B)
Fun and addictive! If you plan to continue with this game, I agree that a detailed and more fun tutorial would be nice, and maybe also possibly something to make healing people more rewarding. Maybe use some particle effects or something, trigger those human pleasure centers :p
