Hard game x) But still fun
I like the atmosphere, also like the idea. Input lag is a little bit annoying :)
Oh, I absolutely love this! Such a simple concept but executed so nicely and it´s such a nice interpretation of the theme! I love the clear and calming aesthetic, the physics work really nicely, and it´s the right amount of frustrating and nice. :) Well done!
Simple and efficient gameplay. I really like the loop idea !
I was shocked when the sofa appeared A great game with sample rules
well done! simple and engaging. i like the audio work done here, great job on that
really interesting concept :)
The sounds are so fun  Also love the aesthetic and the cool seamless transition to a new game.
This is a clever game, very easy to get into playing it, not hard to understand how to play. The audio is quite funny how it changes with the objects and some very funny ones. I have no criticisms, this is a very well made game, good luck.
A super simple and fun little game idea. I love the visuals, and the sound effects is funny. Overall a pretty good jam game. Well done.
Simple but very polished game! Loved the art and sound design. The sofa really got me. I enjoyed playing this very much!! Keep it up
Fun and strategic! Camera controls are a nit janky and I found it easier to just stick to the original pov. The random sounds are jarring but I get that they're supposed to accompany the random array of items.
I liked the difficulty curve - Once I kinda figured how to balance the small tetris blocks the game threw a couch at me :)
Being motivated to build higher to get the apple but also having to maintain balance was a fun concept! :)
This game was hilarious, not what I expected when I saw this page. Easy to understand and play, the sound design is amazing, maybe a bit loud, and it looks great. The transition when you loose is spot on but the time to see your score should be longer. Sometimes a bit difficult to see where you are placing a new object and I didn't instantly realize the raycast ignored the boxes. In summary an artistic work of art, well done.
Good concept. I like the feeling of falling!
The atmosphere is great! The sounds are surprising and fun, and it was nice to see the different items you can encounter. I can't make it past the sofa though!
Fun game, easy concept but very challenging, at least for me ;)
I loved it! really kinda relaxing :D
nice one! really challenging until i got the hang of it
I really like the game over loop! Dumb noises are funny too, nice game!
Really enjoyable game play. I caught myself tipping in my seat trying to save the platform.
The game was super fun, smooth, satisfying and easy to play. I especially like how easy the controls were to understand.
ha, nice! I had the same game idea. :) Yours is just better executed  Congratz!
I loved this!
The "unstable stacking of things" idea is taken to its best here. I love the clarity of everything. The response of controls are great, the feedback are nice. The sound design adds a strange mood that is quite fitting.
What I liked the most is that without looking at the controls, I played only with left click on the mouse and it was very pleasing! The auto rotation and set angle of the camera make for a comfortable experience!
Great job :two_hearts:
So simple and funny!
Cool concept! A scoreboard would be nice and also differentiating the platform so it doesn't blend with the clouds. It was also hard to see how high up an apple would be, but just some color depth and shadows might help.
I love the horrizontal-looping-space style approach to show the score of the last round and smoothly start new rounds. Amazing game!
Thank you all for your feedback, mostly positive ;)
It is obvious that in certain situations it is difficult to locate the apple well in space. A visual cue on the ground or better color depth management (as @whimsicalwang suggests) could have helped.
In any case, we are delighted that the sofa has had its effect;)
Quite challenging! I like the apple goal, and weird desolation and infinite-tower structure of it, together with the random objects and sounds, really set up a compelling funny+ominuous mood. Exceptional job on the theme too!
Soooooo juicy! And the best sound effects i've ever heard on a Ludum Dare game. Challenging but simple gameplay that doesn't need to be even explained and i think it's awesome!
That new game transition though! Give that man a raise haha, that got an audible "ooooooooh" from me. Hilarious sound effects!
You were right about how similar our games are. I do think this would have benefitted from some better indication on where the plate was tilting though. Especially since you let the players put the camera straight down. I used that camera view while I was playing since I found it better for precision placing, but then it was harder to notice any tilt.
I think I had a pretty good strategy since I was essentially practicing your game all weekend  But then I found it even more fun to just rapid fire click since you let me place new objects almost as fast as I want.
the seamless level restart is top notch!
at first i thought this was a basic tower balancing building but it was just pure chaos. Loved the sound and the infinite level restart :D
This reminds the board game Bamboleo to me, but this is virtual and unique. This is challenging and easy to play, but "hard to master" which is a very nice feature. This fits in to theme well and is playable again. This concept would be great to play with other people with different game modes. This game needs some balancing as well, while if the player don't know there are going to jump up a sofa, everything is messed up already. There could be a list or in the back scene view what pieces may appear. Also the pieces to place should cast shadow point to below. There would be more apples to pick on the board same time, or the game would may have premade levels where the goal is just to clear the objective of collecting all apples and play the levels on different shaped and coated and formed platform shapes.
I like it. As @dioinecail said, the seamless restart was a super interesting touch. The visuals are very good as well. How did you the color transition (after spawning)?
This is the most unstable game we've played yet.
Really cool idea and fun gameplay. I just wish it was a little bit more forgiving. As soon as it tips a little there is not much chance to work against it anymore. It could be that I just need to be much more patient and keep a close eye to the angle though.
Cool way of handling the theme! Physics are always fun and this was no exception. I first started by just furiously clicking but soon noticed that a more meticulous playstyle worked better. All the different items look nice and bring a certain quirkiness into the game. Having to learn and estimate the weight of the different items keep the gameplay interesting. I got to 22 points.
Very unique infinite game. I especially liked the transitions to the next level after your tower collapses. It's kinda relaxing at first, but quickly becomes really chaotic (the random shapes and sounds add a lot to it).
@tatu-heinamaki : 22 points !!! What a nice score :) I, the graphic designer of the team, never reached this score !
Delightfully challenging.
Super simple gameplay loop, super fun! Would totally love to see this ported somewhere portable!!!
I got to 18! I loved the couch, that was hilarious. Great entry!
Managed to get 28 points. Quite simple but easy to understand and fun game. Some of the items spawned and sound effects were quite unexpected. The minimalist and chill atmosphere worked very well.
On a downside, while the transition phase between 2 'games' was very well thought, it's not obvious at first that the numbers next to the apples are the score and it doesn't give a lot of time to read it and it's easy to miss it if you don't pay attention.
Wow, nice score @vladadamm ! You are right about the display of the score, it is not optimal. An internal conflict within the team on the presence of a HUD pushed us to relegate this aspect to the very end of the project and perhaps a slight slowdown in the fall when we pass the score would have helped for readability.
@everybody : thank you for your feedbacks <3
That was great fun! At first I kept placing everything carefully but I realised my platform is tilting too much quickly so I started spamming until everything exploded and I was getting giant sofas lol.
Had a good laugh, the gameplay is really solid and addictive! Good job.
Pretty cool idea well managed to score 10 point after 5 tries
wow, this is a fantastic game. A simple idea but super fun and easy to play. I liked it a lot. Good name too;)
I love the transition to new game.
I love the transition to try again! Simple, elegant and infinitely replayable game.
Great choice to have apples as the main collectible. Apples are the best.
It's hard to break away! very nice downward transitions. I like the two aspects of this game that you can build calmly in focus or go into total madness and chaos!
extremely addictive !
Ooh, I really like that "reset" transition. The graphics are simple, but effective and well done. The sounds that play when you place an item are hilarious, even if some of them are slightly irritating. It is hard to determine which way the platform is tipping sometimes. Overall, extremely well done!
Nice "loop" game !
Я вращающаяся тарелка! Кладите на меня ваши овощи! Аха-ха!
Really fun ! Love the sounds and the unexpected objects.
Great idea to constraint where we need to go with the apple, so it's not just "stay balanced with maximum of things"
I just think it lacks constrast with the platform being white on white background. But well done !
Super awesome title! I love how quickly things could get chaotic when trying adjust for your own mistakes! Everything was super cleanly done too - the sound effects, visuals, and even the game over looping back right away. Really impressive title here!
