The art is great, music and sound effects fit. My only mild annoyance was the dialogue popups when trying to play. One of the few games I have played so far that fits the theme! OMG this get's much harder with all your bullets bouncing around. Good job and thanks for providing feedback on our game as well!
One, More, Click...
Decent overall game. I didn't find it clear how to finish the level after saving the 50 cats. Also, I expect to see way more litter boxes and or poop around for all those cats.
Pretty challenging game, I agree that the controls and camera could use some work. It would have been easier if I had read the directions lol. Overall not too bad.
Edit: Also the particle effects your bullet makes were kind of confusing with the Accuse and Question things. I didn't get the reference and it made me want to press those buttons but nothing happened.
You could use the arrow keys to control your shot direction and wasd to control your character. Or mouse aim and fire.
No worries, this whole thing is a learning process for all of us. We had a few big bugs, lacked any help text in game or AI. Just keep working on it and fix what you can. :)
I liked it, Soooo many ducks though. The screen wrap effect was nifty too.
One of my favorite games is tapper in the arcade so I had to play this one. I have to say the pouring and throwing controls are pretty difficult to master and even after explaining the theme it's still a bit of a stretch. However It's a good start and has some interesting concepts.
Gets pretty hard depending on the gun you pick up, which kind of fits in with the theme? Overall it was pretty fun.
Hrmm. It's a stretch to fit the concept in with the theme. While yes, the more gold you have, the harder the game gets, as far as I can tell it is your only option to get to the next level. We did our jam in 72 hours so I can't imagine how hard the 48 hour one is, I just think the concept could be fleshed out a little more. With some more polish though it could be a decent game so keep at it.
Had some issues with the character moving in one direction after letting go of the key which has led to my death a few times. Had some issues with jumping correctly to get the items which I think is a collision issue with the pedestal the items were on top of. Other than that it was pretty fun to run around and just shoot things.
Glad you enjoyed it! We made this game to raise awareness for the need of farting unicorns in everyone's lives.
@tywiggs I am willing to reach out to Nintendo to make that happen :) @alex-Bryant VR would be interesting lol, not sure how that would work. Also you should, I think the audio really takes it over the top.
@ham-and-swiss Just ask your wife to play it, she will be happy with you again.
@chin-jieh Glad you liked it! That cutscene was brought in at the last minute, and yeah we really wanted to have AI in the game but just ran out of time. As for the web version, I tested it and it works but I had to disable my ad blocker for it to load.
@flaterectomy That is an interesting bug, I have not seen that yet. Something to look into for sure. We spent way more time polishing the harder things and missed the basics like controls and dialogue directions. Something to learn from for sure.
Everyone else, Thank you for your comments. It's great reading these in between playing all the games everyone made.
Great little game, I loved the ground effect and would enjoy seeing how you pulled that off. It was simple, fun, and fit the theme. I wish the left and right arrow didn't slam you into the ground as it made avoiding the apples much much harder but overall I really enjoyed it. Good job!
Pretty fun, The cages didn't like to follow me very well so I never did finish due to not wanting to go back and save all of them. I did laugh the whole time with the audio though so great job there. We also did something similar with our own voiced effects.
