Very cute, had some issues with black lines between tiles. I liked the lore and the character but I was a bit lost about where to go at the start. Creative abilities and enemy designs! Great submission.

Super cute game — I particularly appreciated the overall message (though I confess it was a little text-heavy for me in the dialog sections). The effort you put in to the visuals, especially the effects on the skills, really shows nicely.
Like one of the other commenters, I got a little turned around at first and inadvertently did the second quest first, which was a little bit confusing since it teleported me to a different location. I also didn't realize immediately that you don't have to stick to the paths, you can just have a wander if you like, which was a fun discovery!
Thanks for sharing your hard work this weekend
Very cute! I died pretty quickly, and I'm not sure how exactly I died - it'd be great to have an indication of what killed me so I know how to avoid it on a replay.
How cute is the main character:3
An interesting variation on tower defense style games, but I sometimes have problems with artifacts related to the use of Tile system
I was a bit lost about what to do initially. The first time I entered the cave, I didn't realize that I had to protect that central area with hearts, so I died. After the game over, the scene reloaded but nothing else happened, no enemies appeared anymore. About the character movement one tip I can give is to use some physical material on the walls so that they don't slow down the character, which would make movement within the cave much smoother. I don't think it's against the rules to fix bugs, I'm curious to see the rest of the game. Congratulations on the submission, guys.
I really like the art and audio! The map seems really big, and unlike the other commenters, I wasn't able to find the second quest - some kind of direction indicator would have been nice. Overall really good vibes!
Hey, it's a cute concept, I like it! After I helped Renee, the game reverted back to the beginning of her chapter and Renee had a dragon with her already, maybe I did something wrond, ikd :D I feel for each "mind" levels there might be a counter of how many more enemies are there still, some of them take their time to get to the flower :D but nice work in any case!
Love the cute character artwork. The biggest thing I would recommend is offering some directions to players, especially because the map is so big. I found the first 2 missions. The 3rd mission, I'm not sure if one exists because the dialog copies the 2nd mission, and I wandered around and never found it. Maybe add some notes and a simple type of "where to go" in the game description?
Overall a lovely entry with a nice message and cute pixel art.
Oh how I wish I could call for a friendly witch to fight my inner demons...Wonderful idea and art, the music is lovely and so are the characters! Great job everyone!
This was a joy! There's something very relaxing about the graphics, music and gameplay. The character sprites are amazing! Soooo cute. :) I finished both quests and then explored the map a while just because it's such a nice environment to be in. My only issue (very small one) is that the Ludum Dare game screen had scroll bars which didn't alow for the whole game screen to be shown - so I couldn't fully see the spell sprites at the top. Other than that, great effort!
Really cute game, love it  I just wish there was more missions haha
This game is super cute! The character art is really good, and the music fits the vibe pretty well also. I think the map is a touch too spread out though, there's a lot of empty space that could probably be reduced. Otherwise, still pretty fun!
This game is really nice! I love the character art and music, and the gameplay is really fun to mess around with! I definitely think you could take some time after to populate the world a bit more and it would make for a really good product! I also think the camera shake was a bit much, but that's very possibly just a me thing. All in all, great job!
Poor Renee, brother dead, then right away I get a letter about his lover being dead ._.
Anyway. I checked your page and was drawn in by the game cover ^^ And I *love* the idea of the game. Will be great if you continue developing it!
Right now the map is too huge, and it takes a lot of time to find anything. Especially when I am in someone's mind, it doesn't have to be a minute of walking around looking for that sapling I have to protect. Or someone calls me to the graveyard, and I find them accidentally in a lush green place with zero graves. Keep in mind these are all suggestions for further development of the game, I think for a jam entry the game is great!
I loved the visual style a lot. The main character is adorable, all the sprites are cute, I love the detail of flowers on MC's name box. With time you can make the world more alive, adding landmarks and details. Maybe squeezing the map still, and filling more into blank spaces.
I understand I can only do magic in people's minds, however I figured it out by clicking everything action-related in my mind. Some guidance from the game will be a great addition.
Music is cute.
For some reason when I click Enter, the character flashes, but nothing happens (can't interact with houses or anything)
All that said, again - the idea is absolutely precious, and I would **love** to see a completed version of this game! <3
**Some more ideas**: * When it's a letter, maybe show a picture of a letter? * Later down the line, we could maybe enter houses? I think it would be cool if Anemone had her own house. We could get some sleep, get up in morning and find a new letter in our letterbox! That way we have a feeling that we are getting a letter every day, we get some sense of time, and feel more in control of our day, and have a bit of a "break" between jobs! * The ideas shown in dialogues are great, however I think the presentation of them (in words) could be better, in short: writing could be improved * Maybe make a page on itch.io so game development is easy to follow? ^^
**In short**: - I think this game has a great potential, I see a lot of things that can be done with it, and am already envisioning a Steam release! x)
