Really like this!! a lot of fun and can imagine getting sucked right in to the deckbuilding aspect

weefairyfabi 2023-01-09 18:02

This is a super neat game. I am not normally one for deckbuilding games but I really enjoyed the stacking effects. The art is super cute as well you payed so much attention to details! I really loved the little level progress transitions and you even have a shop~ I loved it

korvack 2023-01-09 21:21

The concept is great but my 3 games bugged at different times. The style is very good! With sound it would be even better. Nice work, improve it, it can become a very good game =)

sephowepho 2023-01-09 21:34

This was nice! It took me a bit to understand what to do (mainly because I wasn't paying attention to the information on the info pages), but when I did, I enjoyed what I got! I couldn't make it very far, because this happened, but it was fun to try out!

It seems like it needs a bit more of a tutorial, I only really fully understood it coming back to look at the images on the LD page. Other than that, great job! Keep it up, I like seeing games like this!

Battle system is amazing. but bugs... Screenshot from 2023-01-10 12-07-04.png

enad96 2023-01-10 09:23

Really fun idea executed very well! I would totally play a full game of this.

plusminus 2023-01-10 09:46

Really nice idea. And cute art. I'm glad we're not the only ones, who made a card game :D

igor-minenko 2023-01-10 10:16

unfortunatelly I've got the error "If you're seeing this error, it means I can't find your index.html file." :(

igor-minenko 2023-01-10 10:21

But idea is awesome, idk if it is really harvest, but for me it was interesting to play, it could be better if there would be more rows and columns, but thats okay, good job!

chybby 2023-01-10 10:38

Neat idea for a card game. I found it hard to get further than the third enemy because as my deck ran out I was only able to play one card at a time.

zyrconium 2023-01-10 12:19

Alright, it took me a few tries to get it, with the third screenshot on this page really explaining the plan for winning the game. (Playing your whole deck every turn.)

Gearing up for this strategy seems like it could be heavily RNG dependant, except for the fact that you seem to be able to infinitely reroll the battle rewards, which instead makes it trivial.

It's a cool idea with some legs, but I think it needs a wider variety of card effects or ways to combine them. And the punishment for not playing every card in your deck(Where you almost skip turns until you can get rid of your remaining cards.) could maybe be lessened.

fluburbio 2023-01-10 14:51

This is great, nice work! I had a good run until my cards wouldn't stack anymore due to a bug, but I was hooked. Great combination of ideas :D

no-whone 2023-01-10 15:08

This is such an amazing concept for the roguelike deckbuilder genre! I could see this possibly become a full release if maybe polished up. The gameplay was nice, and at first, the numbers were quite confusing since I just assumed 7 sword means 7 damage, but that was not the case, but maybe that's just me XD. Great job!

lila-pause 2023-01-10 15:55

Definitely haven't seen solitaire mechanics in a deckbuilder game before, and the combination is surprisingly fun. This could be a really entertaining game if it was polished up.

yumepix 2023-01-10 15:56

Pretty hard game but I like it ! Well done !

tanis 2023-01-10 16:25

It's a pretty nice game. It's challenging and I actually like card games so that's a plus

You can run out of cards pretty quickly though, which makes it really hard if you compare to the cards being played by the enemy.

I also managed to find a bug where some panels are overlapping the game area, please see the screenshot

There are some layering issues and it seems like there's a grey rectangle on the right? I seemed to be able to draw cards from the "deck" in the top right, but placing them anywhere did nothing. I also would have liked if the numbers on the cards had more impact on the gameplay. Like, maybe if higher numbers *needed* to be in a stack, the number could be the value (damage, healing, block) as well since now a "7" card is both powerful *and* difficult to play. The lack of audio was a *serious* detriment to the experience, though... Temp.png

*However*, I dig the concept as one of the 3 people who played Pocket Card Jockey and wish we had more "classic card game, but..." games.

elflashor 2023-01-11 10:40

This is indeed a neat concept, I liked it, although I'm not quite sure where the theme really gets in there... It didn't help that I couldn't get past the first fight, as I had multiple bugs when dragging cards around that just broke the game every time... Too bad :(

But I really liked it, I could see some potential in expanding this! :)

noskro 2023-01-11 17:21

The game truely has potential. It does have a few bugs and some that can end a run which is annoying. And sometimes the render oder of the cards get confused. But if you'd take the time to figure them out and maybe update some of the graphics this can be a great game.

My last try was ended by this bug: Unbenannt.PNG That happend right after I got the cards reshuffled

olddog 2023-01-12 09:26

I love solitaire & slay the spire, so I was really interested to try this. It could definitely use a lot of polish, but I've seen the original beta build of slay the spire, so that's obviously to be expected. A lot of promising ideas and potential in this entry!

It wasn't clear to me how much the basic block cards did in the beginning, so I had a hard time blocking enough damage. I tried to replay it after I died, but a giant stack of cards of mine went missing when I tried to put it on one of the empty solitaire spots. Then I couldn't put any of my cards on the empty spots, so I gave up.

I would have loved a map feature to see what's coming up and how many levels there are. Is it infinite, or can you win this game? :)

hungryroy 2023-01-13 02:09

Ok, this was great. Combining two kinds of card games into one was a great idea. Some more instructions would be nice, I played a couple of games before I figured out I was supposed to stack the cards while they were at the top like a solitaire game, instead of trying to stack them in the center box. Once I got the hang of it, it was fun and I suspect a fully-fleshed out version would turn out surprisingly deep.

secrt101 2023-01-13 04:54

neat idea, though the turn mechanics were a little confusing. Liked the character art!

digivorix 2023-01-27 18:41

I like it. It took me a second to realize that I could attack anytime the cards were visible instead of waiting a full turn, but it was a fun system once I got the hang of it. Although I would recommend a custom font for the game, since what appears to the default engine font is a little bland. Other than that though, good job.
