Um, the link?
Link is up. I'm dumb and hit publish instead of save early.
Looks decent. I like the concept of Gachapons. Is there a way to gain health and get better gear deeper in the dungeon? The only issue is a lack of HP bar for enemies (if there more than one it's hard to track how much they've left).
Nice Zelda styles games. Great work. Liked the graphic style a lot.
I think this game could've been pretty solid and fun for me to play, but there are certain rooms where you take damage as soon as you enter it and that sadly destroys it
Looks really really promising, especially the great artwork and fluidity of gameplay. But the combat system is very unsatisfying and rough around the edges. Theres no clear hit feedback or any other visual hints when hitting enemies. Also, the incorporation of the theme did not help the fun I had with the game. Just replacing coins with hp often breaks the balance of these kinds of games.
The grahics are nice, i loved the fact that everytime you sacrificed blood the gear it gave you was random. Somethimes thoe the weapon attacks faster than the animation, i don't know if that was intended.
Nice entry! Maybe it's a little unfair the damage received as you enter into certain rooms. But i enjoyed playing it.
Pretty nice pixelart, music fits perfectly with the game and controls feel well polished.
Good job!
Really like the art style and intro. Sometimes I died when I was still transitioning to another room, because some enemies were either camping the door or the spinning wheel would already move and kill me.
Another thing I really liked were the different armours and weapons. Good job guys!
I respect you by making doungin game, with this insane graohics, but the gamplay was mehhh, sometimes it felt really empty, 3.5 stars for fun, but I can see that you gave a lot of time ti this game. Graphics and theme got 5 stars :v:
I liked this quite a bit, actually! The story setup works and the gameplay is fairly enjoyable despite its simplicity.
My main criticisms are: 1. It feels like there's too much of a variation in power between the different types of weapons - the crossbows (or the couple I got, at least) are orders of magnitude less powerful than the swords, making the game feel impossible whenever I got one. 2. You don't have enough time after entering a room to really get a sense of what dangers lurk in said room. This can lead to some unfair deaths, since you don't have the time to react to the thing that killed you.
Despite those, I enjoyed my time with this! Good work.
Damn quite hard :) Cool music and graphs !
Nice work. Superb music and visuals, and I really like animations!
Really liked the artwork in this one, combined with the great music. It feels like an old 8 bit game. I really like the Gachapons, but wished the fire rate and damage were more significant. There were a lot of situations were the AI got stuck on a bit of the level and I could just plink away at them, this would take 10-20 seconds per enemy. This seems a bit excessive.
Really enjoyed your game even if it was a bit difficult for me. The animation, sound and graphics are really refined and i'm impressed by your team work. The various situations makes the game very catchy even if movement are a bit tense. Thanks you :)
Nice graphics and cute execution of a classic dungeon crawler game. The difference between the sound of attack and the animation felt pretty weird. Also, the only time I reached the final boss (I wish I could have killed it in the first room)was without buying any upgrades. The balls moved way to fast, they were clearly the dangerous objects (and the skeletons) because the enemies were in general pretty slow or easy to hit because they were stuck. The music is cool!
This game is pretty cool. Getting a random weapon each time was really exciting and fun. One thing I noticed is that sometimes I'd immediately take damage from an enemy upon entering a room, which was frustrating. I did really like the visuals and the goofy way the character walked. Overall, this is a solid game. Nice work!
Liked the graphics a lot :D The gameplay is sometimes too slow, sometimes I don't understand why I died, I enter a room and get it instantly, this is too punishing for me :/ Nice work tho !
Couldnt beat the game. I know it is hard but im no good either, heh.
So, clever use of the scenario to inform the controls and also put the credits of the game. Also, outstanding visuals, i really liked the pixelart graphics.
I found it a little clunky to play, easily getting hit by enemies (sometimes when i just enter the room) and not really smooth to walk, but its kinda of a minor annoyance.
The background music is really nice, and the intro was nicely done.
Really good job on this game!
The intro is very cool, the weapon evolution too, the game was nice to play !
Really liked the intro, nice clean style. Also really liked the art and progression of armor and weapons being visible. The movement was a bit rough/hard to control, and the attacks didn't feel like they were working sometimes.
Taking hits from those pink enemies is somewhat bothering, especially as they can spawn on your face upon entering a room. Otherwise, gameplay, art and sound are quite enjoyable. Cheers!
pretty good bot the controls could be better -- did not like them continuing to move even though i stopped -- thanks for making it
Very solid art style! It was hard to understand the actual mechanic behind the first room: Pick you weapon of choice at random or die and retry if it doesn't show up? At least that's what I did... Other than that: very nice entry with a lot of mechanics for the short time.
