Lovely presentation and polish! It took me some time to get used to the weight / trajectory for the egg, but after I got it, it was really fun! My favorite moment was doing a trick-shot, bouncing the egg off the wall and landing on an otherwise unreachable platform. If I would like to see one change, it would be on the collider for the coins to be just a liiitle more generous. Also, the itch site looks great! I would love to see the same screenshots posted in your description here.

Fantastic little game! The physics are a bit jumpy and need some getting used to. Maybe adding a trajectory guide when launching the egg, at least for the start could help. But otherwise pulling off crazy trickshots is very satisfying. I could totally see this being a fun time-killer on mobile!
Gimme a second for the serious guitar-hero-vision to wear off... there we go! I swear I spent something like twenty minutes trying to get above 10 score, and I just couldn't do it. This is a great little game, and the core mechanic is so much fun! That said, I think it needs some tweaking to feel really "natural". I believe you're correcting for the travel of the platform or only tracking the mouse movement, but either way, I think this messed with my ability to correctly power my jumps. It also felt like the jump power was on some sort of scale, as small to moderate movements made barely any progress, and moderate to large movements launched me across the map. With some tweaking, this has the potential to be a seriously addictive mechanic for a mobile game. To counteract the serious vision swim, try adding a static background, or background elements that move in the opposite direction. I hope you keep working on this one, it's great! As an aside, how did you enjoy your experience in raylib?

Thanks everyone for the great feedback!

@noahnewline - I updated the description to match the format of the itch page, thanks for the advice! I didn't realize markdown and image embedding were supported here for some reason. I'm glad you liked the game and were able to pull off some epic trick-shots :)

@itab - Thanks for the feedback! I agree that the physics and collision can definitely be improved. I originally wanted to show a percentage of the egg's trajectory before you release the mouse instead of a straight line, but I ended up not having enough time to implement it. I'm happy you found the game fun overall though!

@bloodyaugust - Sorry about the distorted vision, I didn't even think of that being an issue! Accessibility is something I definitely overlooked while working on the game. Adding a moving background would probably help alleviate that while also helping give the effect that the lava is rising (*totally not* falling platforms).
The mouse movement not being relative to the player is intentional— your speed and angle are determined by the distance between where you pressed down and released the mouse button. I agree that it definitely could definitely use some tweaking though.
As for my experience with raylib, I really enjoyed working with it! I decided to try it out it in the middle of the compo, so working with a new library definitely slowed me down a bit but I had a lot of fun making this and luckily managed to submit it for the 72hr jam deadline :)
@polymars killing two birds with one stone is always worthwhile!
I figured it was intentional, and I couldn't pick out exactly why getting the right trajectory/power seemed impossible, but I also figured I'd try and take a stab at it for feedback sake.
Ahhhh yes, learning a new framework/library during a jam... Always a temptation, but it rarely turns out this well, so mad props there! I've been meaning to check it out. Did you use an ECS framework, or just raylib core?

@bloodyaugust I just used raylib core for input and graphics, nothing fancy. I'm almost certain I'll be using it for future jams so I definitely recommend checking it out!

good graphics
Very nice looking game. The launching of the egg felt a bit weird and the platforms would sometimes spawn directly above the prior platform but apart from that this was a very eggselent game! :D

The title screen and the color palette are awesome. Simple graphics that makes the game look good. The gameplay was ok, however I found it super Hard!. I couldn't get to a third platform, maybe I am just bad  Overall, Great Job

Cute design and nice color palette. Very eggy and smooth! The aiming and shooting mechanic is a bit hard to predict. It's hard to estimate how far the egg will fly when I release the mouse and I get punished for trying to figure it out. Would've been nice to try it out and get the feel for it in a test level before the actual game? Otherwise nice idea! W0ell done for 70 hours!
Game is good! Really like the sound effects. They just fit the look so well. The game gave me a good laugh as I launched my little egg across the screen to allow it to bounce around the screen. I'll echo what others have said where the scaling of the jump felt a little off and it was something I couldn't get the hang of. Also I occasionally had start conditions where the next platform was directly above. For some one just getting the hang of things this was difficult for me to maneuver. The restart time was snappy and the simplicity game kept me playing. Great job!
This game is frustratingly addicting. The graphics are simple and gorgeous. Awesome job making this.
Very fun and satisfying to play, though I agree that a trajectory indicator (even if only a partial one) would make the learning curve more forgiving. I think an option for resizing the game window or a fullscreen mode would also help, as I found myself moving the cursor off-screen fairly often. Great work!

I loved the graphics and intuitiveness! The games audio was nice. I think it was a little too hard to begin. Well done!
Nice fun minigame. Would've been nice if coins were bigger so you could collect them no matter where on the platform you land, since I often died just trying to do a tiny jump over to it. Some people have said a better trajectory indicator would've been nice and I agree, as it was hard to tell where you would land. Also if you made platforms able to pass through from below then that would've avoided so many deaths for me. But nice job!

Pretty addicting gameplay! The controls seemed a little bit wonky, like the vector didn't match where my mouse was when I was dragging, but you might have been shooting for touch support or something. Not a huge deal overall. I like how you can bounce off of the walls, that adds a lot of options. Nice work!
Great game. well polished and balanced. good job!
It's great! Great job!
This was pretty fun! It was tough to get a feel for how far the egg would go with a given length but not impossible. I did get a few scenarios with basically stacked pads that were nigh on impossible to clear. I like the thick borders on your graphics and the simplicity is really nice. Good work!

Fun little game! I liked that the egg didn't roll or anything when you threw it, made things feel more purposeful. Good job with the graphics and sound too, they felt very appropriate for the game. Nice work!
