I spammed cataclysm and made everyone worship me in around 3 and a half minutes. A decent clicker but could use more balance.

Kinda weird starting off since I wasn't sure if I was playing it right. I like the idea of sacrificing people to increase my religions popularity. Could use some clearer rules, but its short enough that you get the hang of it after a minute. I spread Satanism to the world pretty quick though

I had fun playing this game. It felt fairly simple to rack up followers, make a mass-sacrifice to gain lots of blue stuff, then steamroll my way to victory, but that was also kinda fun.

The music and sound effects were great, too. The colored dots were also a nice touch.

Good work!

The graphics were not the best, but that's fine for a jam, but the soundtrack (the note sequence that looped ) was really great, and gave the game a great atmosphere. It was fun at the start when there was just the things that cost money, but one you started sacrificing people, you could kind of just buy a bunch of cataclysms and instantly become the most dominant religion. Still though, it was really fun, and had a great atmosphere, just needs some balancing.

That was a surprisingly fun clicker game! I enjoyed watching the entire world start to worship Cthulhu :P There did seem to be some balance issues, it might be worth tweaking the game to make it scale a little slower

Add a web build?

It's a nice concept, a tad off the theme in my opinion and lacks a tad of balancing to make the game more interesting but nice submission and good job.

Really fun, though it was extremely short. This could be a good game (like plaugue inc) if it gets expanded.

A really interesting idea for a game, and I defiantly like playing it. The only issue is that it way too easy too win this game.

Like others said, there is bit of a balancing issue. In my opinion specially in absolution, making a click worth twice as much as before is okay for a clicker I guess (even if a lower multiplier would be fine as well) but the cost has to go up as well. I tried a "speedrun" an managed to finish the game under a minute by spamming absolution an than converting everybody in one click.absolution.png

I also tried some other "themed" walkthroughs, like no sacrifices (3:53) and no click (2:03) so yeah, even with the balancing beeing a little off a definitly had fun with this. I also really liked the simple graphics, why aren't you in the graphics voting?

Oh and I also thought it would be nice, if you could pick the build options with numbers (1 for priest, 2 for church etc.) or holf shift while "building" something to keep the "building" on the cursor so you can put multiple instances faster on the map.

Also despite there being different areas of influence for the buildings it seemed to me there wasn't any influence on the efficency based on the positioning. It would be nice, if only people get converted when they are in reach of any preacher, church, or scripture.

I converted the entire world to the religion of Thicc Anime Thighs :ok_hand:

On a serious note, this is a promising idea. The problem is that it's way too easy, even for a clicker game, and ramps up way too fast. Once you place your first Holy Scripture, money and followers start pouring in so fast that they basically lose all value, and there's nothing stopping you from just spamming more Holy Scriptures across every inch of the map until you inevitably win.

Well, I had fun.

@tempii your WR had been overcome ! AND with less sacrifices ... My religion is better than yours.

tempii 2019-05-15 08:01

@pl4typus well, but that is still pretty slow and a lot of sacrifices.. 48.PNG
