I love the graphics - it is a really beautiful game! It seems like it could be a lot of fun but I couldn't figure out the button to fire a weapon after a few minutes so I gave up sorry! Ugh, on closer look I see the instruction at the top of the page! Lots of fun - good game!!
the fire looks pretty amazing and i also liked the rendering of the light.
I ran into a bug on the second level where I couldn't progress. I killed the last enemy, picked up the blue orb, walked back to the camp fire, and then nothing. I liked being able to switch weapons and they all had a distinct feel (flamethrower is super OP if you quickly shoot it).
@riroriro That's alright. You use the left mouse button to fire. Sorry that wasn't clear.
@tero-pulkkinen Thank you so much!
@benbennett We noticed the bug this morning, a patch will be released to fix this. Also yes, the flamethrower is quite OP.

Heya - I'd really like to play this one, but itch.io says you haven't uploaded a WebGL build?

Nice graphics and good feedback for when shooting and hitting enemies. It was nice to know that I hit an enemy off screen. Game play loop is there, though I felt like it was pretty punishing to get caught and lose right away. A health bar would be perfect. Good mood lighting too, sold the atmosphere well!
@tad That's odd. Try it now.

@head-tilt-games It worked, thanks!
This one's a lot of fun. The controls are slick and it gets tense when you're reloading. Great job to the team!
@alexunz Thank you! Yeah the game is pretty unforgiving, especially in the later rounds.
@tad Thank you so much! Glad it works now.

I am impressed that you did a multiple weapons, art, and character animations in such a short time. Really good particle and sound effects too. I like the concept of keeping the fire alive, or you'll be consumed by darkness.
Perhaps the only thing missing is a big oof sound and blood spatter when you die. But for 3 days? An excellent effort and you should be proud of yourselves!

Nice game, strong Don't Starve vibes. I ran into a bug where the big shadow monster was stuck running into the fire so I could shoot him at my leisure. I'd also recommend more immediate feedback on when you get hit.

I liked the game, but I've been having a ton of problems with not having ammo. Maybe you could have added a sidearm with infinite ammo? Or just make the drop rate of ammo bigger? I had fun and the game has juice ( screenshake and SFX ). The music is also good. What are the Cola and the Cheese used for tho?
@neenaw Thank you so much! There were three of us working on the game, so we got to spread the tasks around.
@angelee Thank you! Yeah, we completely forgot about the fire collider.
@galse87 We are glad you enjoyed it! The Cola, Cheese (or chips :laughing:) and all the out snack drops, are the ammo pick ups. Sorry that wasn't clear.

@head-tilt-games oh I thought it'd be something like more damage ( chips/cheese, I REALLY THOUGHT THOSE WERE CHEESE ) and the Cola faster fire-rate.
@galse87 Yeah, people have been mistaking the chips for cheese :laughing:
Haha the recoil was an interesting mechanic! Really made it different from your typical topdown shooter. The different weapons were really great. One thing I didn't like is I think you die instantly when the monsters touch you? Would've liked maybe a three hit system. But otherwise I really enjoyed it! And yes, the one hit made it intense!
The game is pretty fun top-down shooter but the biggest issue is that player has only 1 hp, it's too hardcore for a jam game.
@hadi-danial @tricky-fat-cat Apologies to both of you for the difficulty curve. Really struggled to get it right! And also, the 1HP thing was more because we ran out of time lol (if I'm being completely honest). But we'll just say it was because it was too... technically advanced... Our secret lol.
Hey, no need to apologize! We all have to make do without some things haha. No worries, it was still very enjoyable!

I really like the graphics on this. It was fun but I just kept dying. I need to practise more.
@skeffles Thanks for playing! Yeah, the difficulty is pretty difficult XD
