Graphics 10 out of 5 :D Dildo-batons are especially awesome

Very cool paper art style and a neat interpretation of the theme.

Stunningly beautiful artwork and fitting music together with a fun but dark concept! Only negative is that I felt some issues with attacks not connecting all the time. Overall a fun little game!

Really cool game.Graphics are AWESOME 5/5. And the idea is not bad. Also the music matches with the game.I liked playing it. Good job!

Nice job my friend, especially I love the animation of the heart!

philarmon 2019-04-30 17:25

Wow, so much style in such a small game. Love the visuals and the mood. Well done!

swen 2019-04-30 18:09

The art and the overall mood of the game is amazing! Sometimes the attacking felt a bit unfair because my hits didn't damage the enemies from time to time. But this didn't stop me from beating the game after a few tries.

Great job guys!

Visual style of this game is really stunning. Great job making use of traditional art techniques. But I didn't quite get the message behind the game. If you do your job alright and punch those rebels, what you get in the end is basically a game over screen. If you just go away from the fight or go rebel yourseft and punch the police, you simply won't make it to the end. So the only way to get a somewhat satisfying ending is to pretend-fight rebels just so your heart-meter don't go empty, which is confusing to say the least. Overall the game plays really well and does a great job showing a mood of revolution.

Very interesting graphics, was not expecting to see something hand drawn or for it to looks so nice.

stockyspark 2019-05-01 12:38

@detectivelosos to get the satisfying ending you must help rebels by punching other police officers. But in order to live to see the collapse of the Technohearth you still have to punch rebels to restore your life, so you have to balance between helping the rebels and staying alive. That was the original concept.

Game's artstyle is just outstanding. And in combination with the ambient background music it creates great atmosphere.

The idea about balancing your health between helping the rebels and bitting them up once in a while to replanish it is very interesting. But i think current implementation needs some balancing and maybe AI improvements, because othervise it's too easy to get the good ending.

tozzo4316 2019-05-02 17:09

Really like the audio and graphics, but the game is a bit short, the feedback from the enemies hitting you is kinda poor and the AI sometimes get stuck into walls or the technoheart.

simon-rahnasto 2019-05-02 22:57

Really nice and unique art style, I feel like it has great potential in a full release game, please consider that! The audio was also really cool, and added a lot to the overall feel and mood of the game.

Great job!

limejuice123 2019-05-04 15:03

Really cool art and sound, gameplay feels nice to play also. The only real issue is my personal skill, which is poor. I need to git gud.

tiagorrech 2019-05-04 16:55

I love the visuals, both of the characters and of the Technoheart. It's a pretty cool concept that makes you wonder just exactly what it is and what role it plays on this society.

I also like how there are multiple endings, I was curious to see them.

I did find it too easy to hit the other guards on accident, though, I ended up doing that most of the time, so the revolution took me for an ally instead of a clumsy guard :P

Hitting the enemies felt satisfying, but a little too easy to miss. I think a bit of exaggeration to the attacks would have made this a bit easier. The weapons themselves could be a little more techno and strange, too, fitting with the environment of the game.

A solid entry overall, good work!

The game's art and animation is outstanding, and the audio makes everything come alive. The story behind it is also really interesting, and I would like to see it expanded upon. Extremely well done, great job!

coleslaughter 2019-05-05 04:48

I love the style and the audio here. And I also appreciate how you left things a little morally ambiguous, nice touch!

The hit boxes did feel a *little* wonky to me. Sometimes I wouldn't hit a rebel when I was lined up, and other times I would find myself accidentally hitting comrades and getting attacked back. :\

Still, I enjoyed the experience, and absolutely loved the presentation of it!

msalison 2019-05-05 11:52

Very addictive. The mood is great and the gameplay challenging, graphism are also really nice ! I like playing the game ! Nice entry :)

ivan-garcia-filho 2019-05-06 02:16

Awesome mood and art style, you could enhance the ambience with a noisy cityscape, some cops talking on radios, sirens and distant explosion muffled by the buildings surounding you to add the feeling of city under rebelion.

monkeydvrus 2019-05-09 17:20

It is awesome! This game is very addictive and the graphics are sublime

jjjjason 2019-05-12 05:39

Love the visceral sound effects, and how the art style anonymizes the rebels and the police to make the violence more acceptable (there's no face that you're beating, they're empty people). Also really good on you for making the rebels never actually fight back--they're trying to dismantle the system, not any individual.

The idea of playing as the corrupt policeman who wants the rebels to win but still has to get his kicks by beating them regularly is an interesting one, but I do wish it was a little harder to obtain (or that there was some secret pure-rebel ending).
