Hi. I played your game and I'm very confused.
How to go past first spikes? I tried different thing like 20 times and nothing works.

Really cool level with some neat new platformer mechanics! I think you should tutorialise jumping on enemy heads before the arrows tho, just because then it makes the 'killing yourself on spikes' puzzle a little more clear. Also really like the art for zombies!
Hey @jestemstefan , thanks for playing!
(**Spoiler**) So the idea behind the first spikes is to sacrifice your life by jumping on the spikes (and turning yourself into a zombie) and using the next member (which spawns when you die) to use the zombie as a platform by jumping on it's head and crossing the spiked platform.
@jam373 yeah, I was divided on the placement, went ahead with the *'killing a zombie first'* tutorial since that would introduce the zombie without putting them into a mechanic directly. Probably wasn't a good idea since gamers are well aware of what a zombie is and people would end up killing the zombie first. Thanks for playing, glad you liked the game and the zombie programmer-art :stuck_out_tongue:
Cool game! Ran into a couple bugs with zombie behavior, but that's to be expected in a jam. The arrow mechanic was nice and I could see it being expanded into a larger project. And thanks for tuning into the stream!
Nice game, I liked that you can stick one arrow to te other, it really helps on that tall wall
Nice entry! I like the player sprite, the level design, and the jumping on arrow mechanic. The tie in with the theme is a bit loose but I see what you're going for with it. I found the way the camera jumps side to side when you turn a bit jarring. It looks like you're rotating or negating the scale based on a point at the center of the screen perhaps? If the goal is to maintain the camera distance from the direction you're traveling maybe lerping its location would be a better approach just to smooth things out. Either way, good job on finishing!
Cool game, the camera needs a bit of work. I got the mario snes feeling, very cool. Nice entry!
nice game bro! lots of creative mechanics. wish I had read the comments first! took me a long time to figure out how to get pass the spikes.
Tricky... cool entry, neat new mechanics
Thank you for submitting your game to be played on my stream!

The light offset makes turning around weird. Great entry!
That's a pretty cool mechanic!! And definitely only one you can discover through experimentation. When it looks like there's nothing you can do but die, guess I'll die then.
Also, I don't know how intended this was, but arrows make great makeshift platforms!
For feedback, obviously more levels would be great. People had already mentioned above, but the over-eager camera is quite jarring, and while very aesthetic, I'm not sure how much the fog-of-war contributes to the game.
Nice game, I had a bug where my character were standing on the void but else it's ok.
Congrats, well done.
The concept of lighting became cool, the technique of using the flexas to reach high place too. It took me a while to figure out how to get past the first spikes. Perhaps compelling the player to climb into the zombies' heads in a previous situation is a good introduction.
Please, rate my game and leave some feedback too =]

Very short but interesting game. The death mechanic was cool and one of the more original interpretations of the theme I've seen, but I found I only really needed to use it in one place.
Interesting take on the theme. Having to press Z once to load an arrow, and again to fire stuck out to me as a weird design choice. Why not just press Z once to shoot an arrow? Turning around is a little jarring, as others have mentioned. Landing on top of zombies seems a little glitchy, because I got stuck on them multiple times. The idea has a lot of potential, and overall it's a pretty cool entry
Edit: Great to see you fixed most of these issues in the post-jam version!!
