Nice platform game, loved that you included a tutorial. However I'm not sure how to restart the game once you get stuck in the lava so I killed it and restarted it but that get's annoying after a while :D

Really beautiful. It's obvious a lot of work went into making the sprites. The music is okay. The game is pretty fun, but whatever method you are using to detect if the player is grounded (sending a raycast down, I assume) is not detecting that I'm grounded if I'm hanging off the edge of a cliff. Basically it makes long jumps a pain because you can't jump at the last moment, you fall instead. I'd recommend doing 2 raycasts from each side of the player, and if either of them hits the ground, the player can jump.
Cool game with good graphics (nice work with the particles). I enjoyed the filter you used :) .
The only bug that I noticed was that some times I didn't die when fell into the lava (specially on the first one) and since i couldn't jump or get out, I had to restart the entire game to try again.
Congrats for the game :)
@cg-fred @sir-daniev cheers for that feedback, turned out i forgot to triple check that layer
@draonzbw cheers for the hint, fixed the player to do 3 ground checks (one in the left, right and middle of the collider)
Graphics are fantastic. Audio is great. If I were to suggest anything, I'd say maybe tweak the jumping noise so that it doesnt clash with the music. Feel of the game is alright, and the overall presentation is immaculate. Great job!
This game has by far some of the best graphics I have yet seen in either the compo or jam! I love the grainy style. The movement is pretty good, and I generally enjoyed playing, although I found myself at a loss for what to do when falling into lava.... I didn't die, I was just sitting there. Despite that, this was very well done - good job!
Love the art style and how it fits nicely with the game idea. I also found the jumping a bit buggy, but that is always really hard to get right. I got to the level with 6 coins, but only find 4.. I am the one who didn't explore enough or is there a mistake? Good game after all!
It's a simple platformer but it's really well done. The presentation is great, it control very well and it's fun to play ! But I couldn't go far in the game, I had a weird glitch where the game spawned me in the ground, and keep making me reappear here. Aside from that it's my favourite game so far.
I got stuck in a rock and lost 2000 power within seconds.
Pace is a bit slow for my taste.
Solid game otherwise. Good job.
Nice work dude! I think the visuals are the most successful part. Really liked the sprites and the post-processing. Music and sound were simple and set a good mood. The mechanics were also simple but effective. Overall a nice, solid entry!
I hit one bug where it seems like the level start was bugged, I think it was the 3rd level? Here's a snap:

The art style and music are perfect. Really loving it! Very solid game.
Simple platformer game with some interesting mechanics. I like the art style. But I think you should have added a little story in the game why you are playing on a computer. The gameplay is okey. The jumping feels a little bit floaty. And it is really annoying when the camera pans to the door when you are jumping over a lave pit. Otherwise, great game :)
Very nice graphics and the controls were very responsive.
A few weird issues in that WebGL on Linux, like accelerated jumps up walls or randomly dieing, but luckily they weren't super consistent.
Nice job on the distinctive visuals!
Nice visual effects and graphics. I think that the game has a bug when you jump on destructible structures but is nice to play.
Really like the screen transition! Game is a bit glitchy though. Eventually there were two characters on screen and my energy depleted twice as fast. But overal still a good entry.
Pretty fun, though I don't really get the screen-in-screen thing that so many games on here do. Why not make the game take up the whole view area? Also, having playere controllable during transitions and cutscenes (door opening) leads to some cheap deaths.
What a nice game! The game design is clever, the level design could have been improved but is good. I love the graphics and music. Great job!
Simple and fun, nice graphics and sounds, easy and fun to play, but needs more polish - controlls could be better and I've encountered a glitch - when character hits edge of tile he get launched up to the ceiling.
Responsive controls and very good gameplay. Nice work
The game's physics are wonky. I frequently bounce straight in the air or got stuck on walls.
On the Linux version -> you only did the 32bit unity export. Need the 64bit version (to match OS version, which (almost) all Linux users are going to need). Not sure why Unity defaults to the 32bit the way it does.
Things I like - graphics - physics/floating blocks - death animation
Things for improvment - Music level adjustment - the backgound/wrapper image could take up less of the screen - perhapse with a 'zoom in' so that you could show the whole thing, then limit it down for play - didn't like the hidden areas, there was nothing clearly indicated they were there - energy mechanic seemed to only be a punishment for missing jumps or taking a 'bad' route, which happens when learning the level
Great game, amazing graphics (although I didn't like the buttons from the Menu). I think it has a lot of potential. Good level design, although I hated the camera movement to show me a door is open.
Great work overall.
That was a very nice game, nice graphics and music. The jump is maybe a bit too slow, but I guess this is Mars. Too bad there isn't a lot of levels, but I am not complaining, what you have done in three days is amazing. Good job to you.
I loved the weird post effects on the visuals. Also the physics felt really good.
Amazing graphics, great job. The physics are nice but I found a bug where if you jump to a wall and keep going to that side the player gets stuck, maybe reduce the friction to zero of the player physics material
Nice retro style and gameplay. Physical movement is to repair.
Good job, really well done game. Liked the retro computer presentation and the sound effects to match. It's nice to have this many levels, felt pretty long for an LD game, however I think they were a bit too easy and slow for my taste. Also, the jumping/falling felt too slow for me, maybe it would be more fun with a bit higher gravity. Great job on the soundtrack as well!
