The jam build crashed for me but the updated version seemed to work. I like the visual style and the dialogue was charming. Needs some more gameplay though!

Graphics are cool, dialogues too, we want more !

@lychee That's my fault for not testing the build outside of the editor until post-jam! As for gameplay, I 100% agree I kind of cut content a bit there. Hoping to add a bit more over the next week for polish!

@ghatazorg Thank you! <3

Well that was crazy short. Or was that really the end? That one dude kept saying to come back later but just waiting (ie. walking around) didn't work and neither did talking to everyone else and killing all the rats.

> I kind of cut content a bit there

That's one way to put it...

On my first run I did die to the last rat as I wasn't quite ready for how the combat worked. But before that I somehow managed to get misaligned from the grid. This remained until the end of the run, always being like third of a cell too much left.

Was it just decoration or why was the grid missing on two different rooms?

It was kinda annoying how you had to move towards the thing you were going to interact. There were no places where two different things would be next to you so you could as well check for all the directions for interactable cells.

The combat was also quite weird. At some point you just couldn't attack the NPC but neither did they. Until you move some (and they just keep following you). Then somehow the attacking gets unstuck again but obviously you will lose (against some NPCs at least) as they just have more HP than you and you're always just trading blows. 🤷‍♂️ And the HP didn't update correctly either until you move first.

Anyways, good job! 👍 It's a really solid base for a game but obviously very much lacking on the content department at its current state.

GJ, we simply need to get more of it, regardless if it fits the theme just about or not :)

This is a really impressive foundation for a game! It must have been a lot to program in just a weekend- looking forward to wherever you go with this next!

I also made a roguelike with Godot so this game really resonates with me, good job making a dungeon crawler in such a short time mate :)

What little you got is pretty decent, not much to comment on as there's not much to play. Sounds and music were pretty good, and though very simplistic the graphics were pretty aesthetically pleasing. Love how you can aggro the rats and bring them to NPC to avoid fights.

Gonna be waiting for Dr.Mendax to get back to me one day about whatever he wanted to say.

Very short, but I liked the dialogue. Actually having music was a nice touch too. Good luck!

Keep it up man like your game!
