Blow the Hen Down by NickZangus 2018-08-15T22:11:43Z
Very funny! I hate hens after this game! The only problem: movement is not very responsive. Good game, good work!

This is genius! My record is 41
I sold myself 10/10
I DROPPED POTIONS TEN TIMES BEFORE I COULD MAKE THE LAST POTION! It was so hard ... I love this game! Great game!
I like puzzles, and this graphic is so good. Spent time with pleasure playing this game!
I like it! The movement is not very good, and it is difficult to win. I like music, is it ukulele?
It was a relaxing game in the beginning... BUT THERE WAS THE BLACK HOLE!!!
I love this insanity that is happening on my screen. It's so addictive!
Little cute game! I like it, but the sounds of the explosion scare, and you can not know when the next platform will disappear
Very relaxing game, so cute! The graphics and sounds are beautiful! I like this puzzle.
I like the music in this game! I launched satellites into the smallest orbit and could not start any more. Next time I need to think about strategy better. Good game, I would like to see it on mobile devices!
Hey, really liked your game!
Initially, I thought that I wasn't able to mine rock yet and that I needed some kind of upgrade. But it turns out I can, just very slowly, and the 'heating' visuals didn't really **_signal_** that to me. I thought I was somehow turning rock into gold.
Also, my first encounter with a boss was a little strange. I mined right down the center, and when I got to the big cave area and saw the 'survive' message, I just completely ignored it and went to mine gold in that cave. After a while, I saw the 'escape' message, but the boss was still there, so I returned and killed it. And died because of explosion XD
Oh, and also I feel like the pod takes falling/impact damage too easily! Like even minor moves hurt!
Otherwise, really liked the visuals and sounds! It's a pretty nice game!
Funny lil game! Here is some feedback:
1) People are too small and it's hard to see them. Sometimes they hide behind the hills and you can only wait for them to get closer. 2) It would be nice to be able to hear the hint rocks themselves. Something like with the people - right-click on the rock and it plays the correct tune.
Really nice little game, but I always messed up the same few letters because it's hard to differentiate between full down and down-diagonal flags!
I definitely can see this project becoming a small educational game for children! Really liked the music!
Hi! I saw your game on Reddit and was hooked! I'm going to write down some feedback as I go through my playthrough:
1) I really like the music! 2) It would be nice if wires were created automatically when clicking on an input/output. 3) I really like the wire physics. 4) It would be nice to be able to control the length of the wires so they don't block the view. 5) It would be nice if wire points had larger collisions; it's very hard to catch and click them when they swing. 6) It would be nice if modules also had displays so the player could see the current waveform. Or maybe a separate display module. 7) Sockets for wire points also have very small collisions. I often accidentally drop wires. 8) It would be nice to have the ability to delete a module by right-clicking it. 9) It would be nice to have undo/redo options, or at least a restart button for when you've really messed up a level and don't want to clear everything manually. 10) It would be nice to have audio or visual feedback when trying to insert a wire into the wrong socket.
Sorry, it's late here and I'm feeling really sleepy, so I'm currently unable to figure out the "difference engine" level. I figured out two independent parts of it but unable to connect them properly. Otherwise, this is a very solid and interesting logic game! I'll probably return to it after I get some sleep.
@kobato-games Hi! You actually can use the space button! We were in a rush at the last moment and completely forgot to add this to the description - sorry for that! And a big thank you, I'll fix the description a lil bit later.
@tolviere Thank you so much! Seeing your comment as the very first one right after the final jam rush to even get this game out there honestly meant a lot! It made us feel like we did everything right. I (and the whole team) really appreciate your kind words.
@poboy Hi! Iâve been working with the Defold engine for quite a while, so Iâm pretty comfortable with it.
The rest of the team, however, were using it for the first time and had to learn it very quickly. Because of Defoldâs static asset workflow (which is a bit unusual compared to other engines) and the time pressure, they didnât really get to use its full potential and found the editor a bit clunky.
On my side, I was really grateful for the hot-reloading feature. I had to fix a lot of sprite ordering issues right at the end of the jam, and it saved me a lot of time.
Thank you everyone for the kind words! There are so many comments that we canât reply to all of them, but weâre reading every single one and truly appreciate everything you say!
1) Controls don't work when keyboard layout is non-English 2) Movement feels very funny 3) Got hit by a tree XD 4) Is there any way to talk to these NPCs? 5) Got hit by another tree XD 6) AVALANCHE?? 7) Oh, I see now, I can talk to them when I have the right item? (need to probably backtrack then...) 8) Was killed by a skier Screenshot from 2026-04-26 00-46-14.png 9) Accidentally ran `sudo rm -rf /` instead of Alt+F4 10) Restarted 11) Got hit by two trees in a row and stuck inside a rock (I'm a hermit now) Screenshot from 2026-04-26 00-52-07.png 12) Was killed again 13) Restarted 14) YAY Screenshot from 2026-04-26 00-59-45.png 15) Got the feeling that I want to speedrun this game... 16) Restarted
This is a genuinely funny game! This game just likes to troll you... And I like it!

Hi! It was funny to come across your game on itch right next to ours - I guess great minds think alike :)
I really enjoyed playing it. Overall, this is a solid Ludum entry - great work!
I have a few pieces of feedback. I hope it wonât sound like I'm mad that you made a similar game to ours XD
1) The beginning feels a bit slow. Thereâs some friction in the loop between ârun -> results screen -> upgrade screenâ and the pacing changes quite frequently early on. 2) The mid- and late-game feels great! Progression is pretty solid here! 3) When holding the mouse button to dig, if the character has already cleared everything nearby, it would be helpful if digging stopped automatically. I often held the button too long and wasted energy for nothing. 4) An âend dayâ button would be useful, especially when youâre out of sonar pulses. 5) Minor visual issue: due to low resolution of your pixel art, the character jitters slightly when moving diagonally.
Great work overall!
Yooo the art is so cool!
I didn't really understand the game at first, even after reading the description and the in-game tutorial. The servant was just moving around randomly and completely ignored my commands.
Once I figured it out, however, I found the game very nice and addictive! I had some questions and feedback, but I see that other commenters have already mentioned them and you're aware of those points :)
One thing, though: I think you should remove the disobedience mechanic at all or at least reimplement it differently. Currently, it feels a bit odd and pointless.
Otherwise, this is a very solid entry! I really liked the visuals, the audio, and the overall vibe.
Good atmosphere, graphics and sound! Really wanted the ability to crouch though - a lot of places look like you can just hide or go through if you crouch!
Hey, I'm getting 404 on your itch page!
Liked your cover art, though!
Hey! Access is restricted, can you provide new link for your game files?
I really liked your cover art, though!
