I enjoyed this game. I like the art style, it helps accent the game-play. At first I was a bit confused on the sacrificing mechanic but, overall I enjoyed what I played. Good Job!

Visuals are great, music is fitting while a bit repetetive. The gameplay itself is solid (who doesnt like a good horde) if it weren't for the sluggish controls. I do really like the upgrade mechanics and progressively more difficult to navigate world! Sometimes my controls bugged out and one key would either not do anything or match the opposite key (hold right - goes left) when taking damage or something.

I like the art and the idea, but I had headphones on when I started this and almost went deaf. The controls were sluggish too. With some cleaner controls and lower music volume I think would be a lot of fun.

I agree with @baktillus - the controls need some work. In addition, it wasn't very clear to me how to close the sacrifice menu at first. You should have added a close button (or just some text that says K to close). I really like the graphics and music! I like this game.

nice art, nice idea with the sacrifice mechanic. But the game itself is just too hard to play, the draugr are just as fast as you so you can't escape them, and you get one shot when they all hit you at once. With a little tweaking it could be great. Good job!

@2016mcook, thanks for your feedback

@baktillus, I agree that controls need some polish, but I can't understand what exactly I have to fix. Is it connected somehow with attacking? Also thanks for your feedback

@boyturnedrobot, sorry for went you deaf. The sounds will be fixed in the next minor update. Thank you for your feedback

@mertios, thanks for suggest to add an info how to close the sacrifice menu. It will be fixed in the next minor update

@death-is-cold, the draugrs run with 80% of viking's speed, so you have a chance to escape them. thanks for your feedback

@hexkritor I'm not sure what prompted it but every now and then when enemies "pinned me" (i assumed slowdown when getting dmg is intentional) one of my control keys was flipped for a moment causing me to run back into the enemies or off into a pit.

Maybe some speed variable needs clipping to prevent negative speed when the player is getting slowed down too much?

hexkritor 2018-12-05 11:55

@baktillus, now I get it. Hope I can fix it in post-jam version. Thanks

ljay 2018-12-05 21:50

Cool little game! Also it was quite hardcore because I can't rotate character during attack. so max wave I've reached is 4

hexkritor 2018-12-05 23:39

@ljay, thanks for your feedback

bootak 2018-12-06 19:36

Cool game, pretty addictive and hardcore. Controls seem a bit stiff, so my character feels somewhat clumsy, don't know why. Glad you've finished your game, it is now a lot more playable than on SPbLD :)

mateusboga 2018-12-22 12:42

I like the concept, though the collision detection is a bit weird. I fell off when I barely touched the corner of a hole. Also I would preffer if you could turn to face the enemies when they are pushing you. Nice game!

gizmolo 2018-12-22 18:47

Other than not knowing exactly what all the things did in the upgrade / sacrifice menu, I had a lot of fun with your game. With a little more polish this could be something special. Great job!

nbrengle 2018-12-23 20:49

It's hard to tell when you've been hit / what your current health is. A health bar would be handy.

I love the way the level builds around you. The art looks great!

hexkritor 2018-12-24 19:19

@mateusboga, @gizmolo, @bootak thanks for your feedback

@nbrengle thanks for your suggestion with a health bar. It will be added in next game update
