Fun game but not really intuitive about how dices work. Didn't understood we couldn't just throw them to go forward. But nice game anyway !

Cool game! Like the plot and low graphics style of the game. A bit weird how dices and enemy attacks work. Also the random events sometimes can't take a chance to choose how many dice I will roll. And the spider poison got a too much damage with every turn. And there is no point for rolling less dice than you have, or I couldn't understand the game rules at all. Thanks for making this game
@hexkritor yea you're right about never needing to roll less dice than what you have. The idea was to have events that would require you to get a value within a window, like the girl and her cat. And the dice we're supposed to slowly ware away, but I didn't have enough time for more variety or balance.
It's a shame there was no sound as that would have greatly elevated the experience, and the balance could use some tuning. Regardless, I had fun playing this and enjoyed the goofy artwork.
the art was really nice good game (:
I like what you did here! As others said, there are points that could be improved, like adding sound, balancing, and making the game easier to understand. But I really appreciate the interesting, simple, and quite versatile mechanic you created here.
Nice entry! Graphics are great and it has a lot of content.
As for rolling less dice than you have, that means less chance of getting 1s, so that already makes sense for me.
There are just some issues (like showing the last sum you've got when you enter a new battle, or being able to run when you have less than 3 dice), and the UI is confusing at first. But it's a great idea and fun afterall. Good job!
This was a really great game! There's a cool balance even after you've got a big sack o' dice because you still want to risk as little as possible in each encounter, and then throwing the entire bag at the final boss felt good. I loved the art as well, very cute and evocative, and the dice themselves and the particles when they're destroyed were a very nice touch. Great job!
Good game. I didn't understand if the dice you get with the exploding dice remains after the battle
@guzzungo It might have been a bug. Were the dice that "exsploded" sticking around longer than usual?
Good game! I especially liked the implementation of the battle system. Since the game is generally kept very simple, it would also be an idea to export the game for smartphones.
However, what I didn't quite understand was the implementation of the theme. In the end I defeat the Dice Master and can not only delay my inevitable doom but prevent it completely?
@misterjbro the idea (at least on paper) is that if you have an amount of dice and you take away the dice that roll 1 you will eventually run out. In practice the player would eather have way more dice than what they needed or none at all. I think if I were to continue developing it, I would make many smaller choices over a longer period. Thank you for playing!
I love the simplicity here, but agree with others that some aspects could be more intuitive and the balance doesn't quite work.
It's a great concept though and it's easy to imagine some twists to flesh things out. You could let the player tweak probabilities, have enemies who react differently to different dice values, or 'spend' the dice in more interesting ways (maybe you can roll some 'block' dice to avoid taking damage?).
I also love how the dice shot out at the enemies, as well as the evaporation effect. I wish they were bigger though so I could see all that better! Oooh and what if the dice scale when they finish rolling based on the value, so a 1 would be small and evaporate but a 6 would be big when it shoots at the enemy!
After 10 minutes I still couldn't fully figure out the rules, but started to get a hang of it. Maybe it's just me but I think you should extend the description the game. Otherwise, it has a nice atmosphere, unique mechanic, it could be polished into a nice little game! Congrats!
