Super cute graphics! Love it so much!
Wow! What a stunning entry. I loved really everything about it; The game-play was fun (I played till the end), the art was very nice, and the music/sfx as well!
I think my favorite part was figuring out what each "summon" did (usually dying in the process!)
super cute game, the animations of each summon were very fun to explore while trying to figure out all the mechanics. it's nice that you permit multiple solutions to each level, allowing the player to find and learn their own favorite mechanics. The 3D background looks really nice and gives the game a great atmosphere. I would have loved a web version though!
Thank you @wwwan @sirlich @gumibear for your very nice feedbacks! For the web version unfortunately we didn't foresee that our post processing effects (such as the volumetric fog) were not supported on this platform so we decided to not ship the web build. It would have been nice though I agree!
The character is cute, but there is a bug ,character falls out of the world
In the mac version I couldn't get passed the menu. Once I was in the game only the UI appeared and the rest was black. From what I saw (the menus haha) the art style was amazing and well polished. Hope you can fix the bug. Good job!
such a good artwork! you did a great job, i like it!
Nice concept, actually quite like on our! I like the 2D/3D combination and the character is super cute! The physics seems a bit off, gravity may just be a bit low, and the SFX are a tad to loud
Overall a nice experience :)
Really fun game, liked the 2.5D visuals and audio. The early levels felt a lot harder than the later ones.
Really enjoyed myself with this one! The art was absolutely gorgeous, and the character designs and sound effects were really cute too! There was one time I managed to somehow glitch myself into the Z-axis a bit which was kinda funny. Overall, great submission!
I quite enjoyed this game! Game looked and sounded amazing! As someone else said, gravity did feel a bit off but thats not to much of an issue really!
I love the art style of this game. The character is super cute. And the design of scenes is also fascinating!
The concept of carefully leading helps from demons is indeed a good point. As for the gameplay, it was fun to discover the demonic face of each familiar. The cute sounds also made it less frustrating when I got killed by them. XD
Nice work!
This was perfect. I will kill for my little summoner possum. Genuinely though, this was a really interesting and fun mechanic! It's in the vein of so many other puzzlers I've played where there's never quite just one solution. I could probably play hours of levels from a game like this, and the art was absolutely adorable. It reminds me a lot of Paper Mario. All the demons are adorable and have interesting mechanics that really force you to think which one you want to place where. Y'all did a fantastic job!
Nice entry! Loved the visuals! In the first level I somehow fell through the ground, not sure exactly how it happened. Anyway, very fun to spawn those platforms, congrats on the game!
The mechanics worked fine. You used the different plattforms nicely in the levels. I had fun to try and discover the new plattforms. I found the "burning plattform" a little bit too loud. I like the mixture of 2D character and 3D background.
@lllarso my bad for the burning platform, I screamed at the top of my lungs in the mic in order to create this soothing sound
Liked the atmosphere
The gameplay is quite basic, 2d platforms and you can customize the position of key blockes like ultimate chicken horse. What I really like is how you make the game relevent to the theme, which is "summon" the demon block. Each kind of demon block has it's own character and requires some puzzle-solving. I like the block 5 by the way, it's really creative. The level design works just fine, with good atmosphere and some humor. But I think the fire block(block 3) is quite noisy and the jump dynamics can be polished more. Nice game definitely
The graphics drew me in and kept me going despite a few disastrous first attempts (I don't often play platform games). Once I understood the game I had a lot of fun - frustrating at times, but in a way that added to the experience. I like the different demons/blocks and their pros and cons, and I liked that while some demons/blocks were required to pass a level, you weren't always strong-armed into a single solution for each level. Music was nice, sound effects were nice, +1 for cute rat in a hat.
Really creative take on the "Platformer but you can spawn platforms" type of game! The art is really cute, I loved it! There seems to be a bug at the last level where you can fall infinitely in you jump to the wall at the right where it look like you can jump on the ledge, thank god the restart button exists :D
Really cool idea and the characters all have fun designs. The art is very charming too
I'm not really good with these kinds of platformers, but I had fun! Also loved the atmosphere, 2d art with 3d environment works surprisingly well and adds depth :) And the main character is really cute! Great entry, keep up the good work!
Oh the little rat is super cute. I like it!
Love the art style and the general mechanics. I don't like the fact that if you mess up a placement you have to restart, but that's just a personal preference.
the mechanic is creative and definitely has the potential to be expanded on! the 3d environment also looks super cool, although it is a bit disorienting. my only comment is the controls should clarify that you need to click to spawn a block. putting the teleporting block on the first level was confusing too, the fire block might've been a better starter
@yukimiitsuka Thanks! :D It's an opossum actually (that's why it's that cute)
The art is cute. Completing a level with an extra platform to summon always feels nice :)
Is there supposed to be a way to banish a summon? I can't seem to get past the first level because I'll place one demon poorly, and the only way to fix that problem is to restart the level. The concept and the graphics are wonderful, but it's just too frustrating to keep having to restart 🫤.
I'm glad I still had time to play this game and participate in the voting. I really liked the concept. I think there are some bugs that you probably already know about, but overall, I think it's worth working on the idea for the future. It could become a great afternoon game.
I really enjoyed the game. I almost ragequit in the last two levels. :D The game feels complete. I enjoyed the various platforms - more levels can be built around their mechanics.
I could see this as a full release. Also the graphics were great. good job!
Incredibly cute graphics and atmosphere. I really liked it! :)
I loved this game, the sfx and voices are very cute and funny ahah Great job with the graphics too!
A delightful game with cute and interesting platformer puzzles. I'm so in fond of the stained-glass windows in church; they are really beautiful. Well done!
The art direction here's really solid!
The main character is adorable and the church setting's really cool! I also very much enjoy the funny sound effects, the burning platform scream caught me off the first time I heard it lmao
I have seen a few games where you summon platforms in order to progress, but each having downsides thus requiring more careful platforming and placement gives it an interesting spin. they were used pretty effectively and satisfyingly in the levels. It would be cool to see them also being used in clever ways for solving puzzles or a little more intricate platforming challenges.
I wish there was a better way to tell where place platforms because I'd sometimes place them them too high and I was forced to restart because I couldn't reach them anymore.
Good entry!
I got stuck on the first room. After restarting about 5 times I was able to get the spawn time right to get up the balcony, but then I didn't know what to do next. Maybe it could have given me some hints directing me where to go? Other people seem like they figured it out, so maybe it just me?
Lovely game. Unbelievably cute designs for the character and the summons, really cool environment, great sound design, neat platforming puzzles. Great job!
A very atmospheric game. The jumps were generally pleasant and it was cool that each platform had its own “temperr”. I liked it, even if I encountered a couple of bugs, that you fly out of the building and at the last level there was no death trigger at the bottom, but at you added a button to restart the level.
It's really pretty, so I wanted to comment on that, but I couldn't even figure out the 1st room >_< Made two blocks to jump on them, but couldn't reach the chandelier (blocks were right underneath it) However, the idea with building blocks is interesting, art and lighting is gorgeous and animations are cute ^-^
