I’ll check it out on itch.io
I guess you have the same issue I had with my game when publishing it. Make sure to
- pack it as a ZIP index.html is at the root-level aside the folders created by Unity - disable “Data Caching” when creating the WebGL build in “Player Settings” -> “Player” -> “Publishing Settings”

Played through a bit of this - I think the idea of summoning the tower defense towers is good, but a little more explanation on what they do before placing would help - e.g. the heal tower as your first tower seems an inevitable game over. Also the ranged (orange) tower just seems better than the aura (blue) tower?
The monsters are cute. Good. A little bit confusing that I do not know the effect of each tower and I don't know which is the most effective one against the skeleton monster. I got killed immediately on seeing him X(

Cool game! Really on point for the theme, and I liked the mechanic of having to survive while collecting faith until I can afford a tower.
Cool game, would've liked the towers to be explained in game rather than in the game description. The drop rate for faith seemed rather inconsistent, taking a while before my first drop, then dropping very often when after I've already placed each totem. I'd assume this is because the drops are based on RNG, in which case it might be a good idea to manipulate drop rates over time, so that it drops more often early on then drops left often as you progress. Either way, great work! It's an awesome game for your first Jam!
Fun game and a cool idea. Well done!

Nice entry!
The game could use some clarity. I had trouble understanding the main gameplay mechanics. But it shows potential! Congrats!
I got to 96 kills. Hazaah. I enjoyed figuring out the strategy after a couple playthroughs. The introduction of new enemies is a nice touch, as those ranged skeletons really caught me off guard. I did have some of them shooting from off screen though, not a great time. XD
I agree with @missingpixel about explaining each tower and its function. It would be cool if when the player character is close to a totem, it showed a short explanation in the UI or something.
Cool entry worth checking out. Cheers. :)
The skeleton's ranged attack can be pretty tough to dodge sometimes. I really liked the idea and the summons different effects. Would be cool to upgrade them with more offerings or have some unique levels with different placement layouts. Definitely has potential to be expanded upon and add in some variety. Awesome job for a first game jam! Great work everyone.
Feels kinda Titan souls like. I like it. Pretty easy to pick up and understand. Simple UI and the base concept wasn't too hard to grasp.
Looks interesting but luck button for restart game after death. Overall gameplay works for me well.

Interesting game, simple yet well done art, i like it. My ears on the other hand, are not that impressed, i might have lost hearing on both ears - i think a volume setting/toggle would have been nice ;)
@Trux sorry about that! Had we had more time, we would've implemented volume settings. Perhaps we should've just had the music quieter to begin with lol. But thank you for the feedback!
Simple to understand and simple to get into. And wow, first ever game jam? Congrats on making this game in such a short time!
The game really needs more clarity. Both in terms of game rules and visual clues. I tried it several times and still couldn't figure out what I do wrong and why I can't get the power I want. Some pedestals give power, some just don't.
@risminator thank you so much! I have been interested in game development for a while and have watched a lot of YouTube videos about it lol. It was really fun actually creating a game and such a cool feeling that other people are playing it!
@yukimiitsuka @missingpixel @trevor-lentz and @denismarasan Yes, we definitely agree that there needs to be better explanations of each god and also how to use them! We originally planned to have a guided tutorial that would teach the main mechanics, but we did not have time to implement that. We also wanted to have some way to see the "stats" of each god in the game (probably via a small ui window when you are close enough to it) but again, there was a time crunch and also we had to learn Godot as we developed, so some of the more complicated (or what we thought would be complicated) features did not make it in. Thank you all for the feedback so far though, because of the great responses and interest, we have decided to keep working on the game after the jam, so this will all be fixed! Also, any other features that anyone would like to see added, just make a comment and they may end up in the final game!
This was a pretty solid concept, with more time it could be an interesting game! I found the lack of input feedback to be a little confusing (for example holding space wasn't immediately clear, even after I read the instructions :joy: ). Once I got it figured out though I enjoyed it. Keep on making games!
