Cool art!

Good art and game design! The itch.io page background is quite scary LOL

Quite hard for me. Still, well done!

this game definitely hits the nail on the head for theme. the minimalistic but easy on the eye artstyle was pleasing to look at. the audio design was a knock out of the park too, it seems like spatially aware audio and hearing the patients and alarms go off all at once got suuuuper chaotic, which really sells the overworked part in the title of the game. great submission!

The voice lines are amazing! Quite hard, most I saved was 4.

This is a pretty topical game. Extremely hard, but I feel like that's the point because of how hard doctors and nurses have it these days. Sometimes the icons don't show up so I don't know a patient needs anything until it's too late, and it took me a while to figure out how the icons matched up with the cures (but maybe that's why I'm not in the medical field ). Overall a stressful game that I enjoyed every second of. Great job!

Excellent simple graphics, awesome audio! Great idea overall. Thanks!

Super hectic, fun comedic lines, very enjoyable.

tulio 2022-04-05 03:41

Wow, very hard xD I like the graphics a lot!

alex-zahn 2022-04-05 06:14

Loved the concept, graphics, audio, and gameplay! Very funny and fun to play, played the theme well. Well balanced too. Nice work!

otterfaelure 2022-04-05 12:54

This was intense! I had a ton of, can it be called fun? We'll call it fun for now. It was enjoyable gameplay with a serious message underneath. The voices were great. The intensity was pretty gosh darn good. I'm amazed that this was made in the short time of a game jam!

Very stressful, but great audio design, great fit for the theme, nice gba-style graphicsc. I wish the icons where just the treatment thats needed, because I got tiny brain and I was overwhelmed asociating the illness symbol with the right treatment under stress.

anaxie-studio 2022-04-05 18:38

Cool style and really hectic gameplay! The sound design is also lovely. The only thing I was missing was more feedback when picking up an item to make it clear it really has been picked up and *maybe* clearer icons for what is what since it gets so stressful. Nice game and good job overall!

plixel 2022-04-06 04:03

This game is perfectly stressful! I loved it! The graphics were great, great take on the theme, and the voice acting was hilarious! Very fun but very difficult in the best way! Great job!

allax 2022-04-06 18:33

Very fun and addictive game, 10 minutes in it went unnoticed!

reneantunes 2022-04-06 19:18

Great idea. Love the theme and the nice cohesive art style.

graphite 2022-04-06 19:35

Yikes! Stressful game, but well made. I would have liked if the alerts were the same image as the cure, it was hard to remember what was what.

chanjohann 2022-04-06 21:17

I love the chaos there! For the moment I was mistaking symbols of heart attack and people in need of syringe hah but after that it was pretty nice! Great Idea!

sofimei 2022-04-06 21:36

Loved the art and audio! Very high stress XD after a little while I just had to put it down. The patients and everyone felt pretty far apart. Maybe if this was expanded with multiple levels, this game would be nice with a smaller room as a tutorial and then the stages could build from there.

sweedy 2022-04-07 00:09

I like the audio as well as map colors and style. Stressful, interesting and well made game :)

wainini 2022-04-07 01:37

Great idea and concept. Really tells a very much real and sad story. All the assets are also great, I love how some patients talk about their insurance.

xeke-death 2022-04-07 11:03

That got intense fast. I'd like to know who is keeping the patients alive now that I'm not there.

I like the colour palette and the sprites. If I was carrying something to show what cure I currently had I think that would help a little, because I sometimes found myself not curing people because I didn't know what I had and had to stop and take a moment to look in the corner, which killed people.

Controls were good, the ambient chatter from the patients was a good touch.

okamit 2022-04-07 17:39

Very hectic gameplay haha, but fun! Love the aesthetics, sound design and music, as well as the voice acting. Really sets the mood. I agree that better feedback when picking up a cure would be nice, perhaps with a visible slot for the equiped item rather than a text label as well.

Great work!

best game ive played so far!!! so polished and the sound design fits the mood so fantastically well! If I had any critique it woud probably be the difficulty, maybe slowing down the rate to help the player get into a flow and understand what is going on. Although the game premise is extremely simple, the application of it takes a while for us to do it

pious 2022-04-10 04:03

Cute pixel art! Very well done, and the sound design was pretty intelligent. It was fast paced and definitely provided a challenge. Was pretty fun and fit the theme well. Hard to say this game was humorous since patients were dying but the cute voices does add.

Good job!

mhorth 2022-04-10 19:41

Nice work with this one!

The only critique I can give you is that the indicators towards patients were awesome for the left, right, and bottom edges of the screen. However I didn't get them when patients were off the top edge, so I had to manually go check on them, and I was usually too late.

But if that's the worst thing about the game (and I think it is), then that means you did a hell of a good job with the rest of it!

wendel-scardua 2022-04-18 04:05

I was so tense playing this one...

The way the controls are presented to the player right at the beginning was really nice.
